My wife and I recently completed a complete MCU movie re-watch, after which I naturally did the extremely normal thing of plugging all the movies into a double elimination bracket to arrive at the following Definitive Rankings:

The trailer could just be cut a certain way to highlight Tony, because the marketing folks figure that’s what sells.

I hope that one of these days Marvel will take these reviews to heart and finally make the quiet, contemplative film everyone is supposed to be asking for but does not want to see

I think Spielberg kind of proves that point. He’s respected, but not many people are thinking of his recent films like, Ready Player One, are some sort of cinematic masterpiece.

They need this movie to make bank, because they want to start a franchise.  That means dropping it when they think the most butts will be in seats, and they don’t think theater attendance is there yet.

My second running theory (after the first fell apart) was that Loki just illusion’d a broken time machine to get to know him/herself better.

Tim Roth is reprising his role as Abomination for the Disney+ She-Hulk show. So this will be nice prelude to that, I’m sure.

Cage fight between Abomination and Wong is definitely the most unexpected thing I’ve seen in a MCU trailer. Wonder if Tim Roth is involved in any way.
