I am from Winnipeg and sorry to those who do like this.. film.. but honestly it’s just sad we get credit for loving this film so much.

What’s not to love? De Palma is having a blast with the camera, the performances are a ton of fun (Gerrit Graham is so great as Beef), and most of all, Paul Williams songs are top notch. One of my all time favorite soundtracks and movies. It’s just fun.

I quit F*Book a year ago, for not only privacy issues but for the fact it is making people anti-social. Hiding behind a phone or computer posting mindless garbage and liking everyone’s posts/pics hoping they’ll like your’s pretty much sums up F*Book.. Freaking love Black Mirrors take on social media and it is so true.

The whole point regarding Brad was that he wasn’t blipped and that he’s their age. When Thanos snaps, he’s a cute little 11 year old, but when they come back he's all of a sudden a hot dude their age.

Jameson as Alex Jones/Rush Limbaugh is kind of the take in the recent Spider-Man videogame on Playstation, and I think it’s a really great modern angle.

Who isn’t familiar with the 5th Dimension? They had a number of hits in the late 60's/early 70's like “Up, Up and Away”, “Age of Aquarius”, “One Less Bell to Answer”, and “Wedding Bell Blues.”

My thoughts:

Beautiful story.  I saw one at a Honda MC dealer in ‘71 when I visited a friend who was a salesman there.  When I kind of sneered at it, he said “You just wait - Honda is going to be one of the biggest car companies in the US.”
