Nixtamalizing corn adds a significant flavor component that is crucial to many Mexican dishes. Now, if you’ve only had mass produced corn tortillas from your supermarket or bad taco joints that use the same, then I agree with you - those things taste like cardboard.

What exactly is a PED? All professional athletes are on a shit ton of drugs that enhance their performance (because they wouldn’t consume them otherwise). A league or federation then decides that one chemical or another enhances performance TOO much and bans it. But the other substances they consume are still

James Dolan. Wouldn’t mind popping Lucchino too.

Terrible. But you get a star because your typo(?) on “thing” made me reread it in an Eastern European/Russian accent, which made it somehow funnier. I don’t know why.

Are you suggesting that your SIL not only knows she’s ignorant, but desires ignorance for the next generation(s)? That is truly insane.

Eh, this is a weak ass take. The MVP is, for all intents and purposes, the Best Player award. You should be arguing to change the name of the award. Judging who is more valuable because his team hired a worse coach or has a worse backup QB is ridiculous. Might as well change the award to “Best Player on Worst

I don’t know why they don’t stop and think, just for a second, if it was possible to easily contain and restrict humans’ need to copulate, we likely wouldn’t have survived till now.

and, to most people, “support” also means only things that don’t infringe on their right to do whatever the fuck they want, whenever the fuck they want. else, all bets are off.

I thought Cassian was an awesome character and I like the way they show that even the good guys have to pull some shady, black ops shit. Also General Draven was a contemptible human being and I enjoyed hating the Rebel bureaucracy a little. Hell, fuck the Rebellion’s leadership, Luke, Han and Chewie were outsiders

Depending on the crispiness of the wing, I sometimes will grasp the little flap of skin that overhangs on the flat with my teeth and rip off that entire delicious side of skin and eat that first, then do the method shown in the video.

You agreed with the OP, who tried to make this about the lazy, entitled applicant.

You’re looking at it from the wrong perspective. Hannah is not telling some kid who’s looking to break into a tough industry to get bent. She is telling an organization, owned by a billionaire, itself worth over $1 billion, with yearly revenues in the hundreds of millions, who still want free or grossly underpaid

The scariest part of the warnings was the threat of losing consciousness from just a few breaths of low oxygen air and having zero physiological alarm bells that you’re about to fucking die.

Yeah, I’ve wondered the same thing in the past. As a chef, I’ve used liquid nitrogen before and we received very detailed instructions and warnings about its handling, specifically with regards to transporting it, because a spill in an enclosed area (elevator, car, walk-in refrigerator, etc) would kill everyone in

I was replying to your assertion that wealth isn’t a zero sum game, when in so many aspects, it is. Our tax code is definitely too convoluted and could use major reform, but the rich should be taxed at a higher rate because they tend to use more public resources (such as infrastructure) than do the poor.

The government already “creates” wealth by not taxing the poor at the same rate as the rich. Unless you are suggesting we just print money and give it to the poor, it is sort of a zero sum game. One of the main ways businesses improve their profit margins is to cut labor costs or benefits.

Nah, republican congressmen are bullies and cowards in the truest sense. Guys like Chaffetz, Cruz, and Ryan will puff themselves up and decry Democrats only because they know their gun-toting white base is firmly behind them. They will never go against Trump because they will never have that support. Trump controls

In fairness to Boomer and Carton, Manish Mehta sucks.

I believe the union argued for the current ruleset where the salary increases enough that it’s not economically sensible to tag a player more than once. The tag in the previous CBA was even more team friendly, allowing unscrupulous teams to tag a player for multiple years without as large a penalty.

I always have a weird visceral reaction when I see Froot Loops written in normal text. I never ate it as a kid (or adult) and just had it in my mind as “Fruit Loops.”
