I know of some neighborhoods you can park where, the next day, a broken mirror would be the last of your worries... :-)

Blows my mind that in the USA, you almost need some sort of religion affiliation to be successful in politics. I’ll never understand that.
A poison.. that comes with a great tax break, special breaks at work and school, and big helpings of good ol’ cognitive dissonance and hypocrisy.
Religion is seriously a poison on humanity.
first day on the internet?
Got to love Jalopnik - some pos death machine gets reviewed lovingly. Some nice, functional, safe new car gets shit on.
Chicagoan here. It’s no Rio de Janeiro, no rainforests or mountains, but Rio also has its favelas, gangs, murder, etc. There are places in Chicago and nearly all US cities where poverty and violence are too prevalent. There are much worse places to live in the US than Chicago and Detroit. East St. Louis is pretty…
Why single out capitalism? The Soviet Union and China are some of the top polluters to this day. Seems more like a humanity problem.
Plot twist: that ranger died 27 years ago, and never left.
Mmmmm pancake boats
Detroit
Let’s not forget that the Salton Sea was created by accident in 1905... When life gives you lemons, make lithium?
Hasn’t that been the EPA’s plan for years?
But that solution won’t be ICE, per the new regulation.
There are a few parts of the world where gas-powered vehicles have distinct advantages over vehicles which need to be attached to a power grid. Two causes come to mind: very low population density and cold weather. Of course the vast majority of Canadians live in relatively densely populated zones with adequate power…
We have next to no hydrogen infrastructure. Eight filling stations nationwide in fact. At least we have a bit of a coast-to-coast charging network for the few BEVs we do have.
Probably, because if ICE vehicles are banned, I can’t imagine that the gasoline stations required to fuel them will survive (if they aren’t also banned outright). Ergo, EVs.
How many of these countries planning to make gasoline powered vehicles obsolete and make the switch to electric are willing to spend the infrastructure money necessary to improve the power grid that will be needed?
