I agree. I think Arrival was much more effective than Interstellar in that aspect. It's the better film period.

Agreed. He lowballed it.

Yes!

The Abraham and Isaac echo was clearly on purpose. Let's give the writers a little credit. That puts Negan in the role of God, which is what he was going for anyway.

Those are some good points, L-o-l-a, Lola. It seems a flawed strategy to me too. There is the Daryl leverage and the sparing of Carl as an indication that they will live it they do what they are told. But it seems like he is not so ultra-powerful that he can get away with shit like that without fear of repercussion.

I don't know. My viewing was certainly vindicated. I would like to hear your more positive take on it though. I have put in the 6+ seasons now too, and I have never had a stronger sense that I am done with a show than after watching that last episode.

Absolutely.

This song does suck hard. I don't want to beat up the band members, but I would like to sabotage their instruments while they are out taking a vape break.

You're not going to do anything.

If I were a betting man, I'd put good money on Ignatiy Vishnevetsky knowing a LOT more about film than you. I haven't seen either film, so I don't have an opinion.

Both the book and the movie are great. For those of you who have yet to read the book, the misogyny that Zack Handlen mentions is not some pro-forma SJW reaction. What ails the world is laid at the feet of women. It's totally over the top. That said, it is still a classic.

Yeah. I'm in too. It's a great concept. I'm looking forward to it!

IT'S LIKE YOU TOOK THE DRUG.

Outland was the shit.

"Peak Season" is a great idea for a series. Fringe really did take off on S.3 and stayed great until the end.

"Hey, that's a good song!"

What about Will Patton's character, General Bethlehem, in "The Postman." Wasn't he a copier salesman or something?

What a gas!

I think this review is pretty spot on. I feel like the show is Very Good while never quite reaching greatness. I am optimistic that it will get there as it moves on. Many TV series really came into their own in later seasons. I feel like Thomas Jane deserves a lot of credit for his work as Miller. He's killing it!

You wrote the shit out of this article, Tasha Robinson.
