I just hope someday she can see that video through clearer eyes. It was ugly and uncaring and she married that person. For now I'll hope she's safe. That's really the only thing I can find to do.

I've changed a lot too, I decided I was tired of being disagreeable and angry all the time. Let's hear it for rising to the occasion!

I like that "I choose to be a better me." Seems better than just being genetically agreeable.

A lot of people who come into money quickly blow it fairly fast. I'm wagering he'll be one of them. He doesn't seem like a paragon of good judgment in any capacity of his life.

Exactly. Had Wilson gone with the "he had me by the ears and was smashing my head on the pavement" alibi ala Zimmerman, I would find his story to be quite credible.

Good for them. Not everybody will agree, obviously, but you have the platform so go ahead and use it.

So what? He got paid almost a million dollars (by racist donators + ABC for that interview) for killing a black person. He won't be suffering for the rest of his life.

Don't worry, I'm sure Wilson has a gun, and we know he's afraid of demonic black people, so I'm sure he's ready to respond to any perceived threats. *eyeroll*

"probably didn't hurt to keep that figure down" There is no figure, none of them have been seriously injured or killed. ZERO. So these people burning things down are not hurting human beings, unlike the cops. Property damage is significantly different than bodily damage.
Tell me, in the previous situations where

At least hers is cool. Everybody else is thankful for god and Jesus, and their teacher. Brown-nosed little suck-ups.

It's like with George Zimmerman, the victimizer becomes the victim. Why people feel the need to apologize to this killer is beyond me.

So George Stephanopoulos is the interviewer Wilson handpicked to tell his side of things? I will not forget that, ABC.

The punishment for "threatening to make you fall down" should be death, yes.

describing Robin Thicke as "the human version of a white leather couch" just made my week. I like to think of him, along with Adam Levine and John Mayer, as part of this three-piece set:

Especially considering that Wilson has been going around looking for a media outlet to interview him.

Thank you so much for writing this Kara!! My sentiments exactly! It's very hard to articulate such delicate matters to others (people who are not black) without it being misinterpreted, and you were spot on!
