Well thank you for caring and I do mean that. It has been reassuring to see men step forward and try to educate other men and even some women. It's just so depressing that no matter how many times women say something is wrong, so few listen. :(
But you are appreciated.

Absolutely not irrational at all. My BFF and I were pulled over in Idaho, while on a roadtrip and one cop turned in to 6 of them all saying ladies you shouldn't be driving late, we are just worried about your safety. They had us out of the car, standing in the middle of the highway, holding her dog, questioning us.

I am hyper hormonal and emotional these days so I don't know if that's why I am so fucking outraged or if it's a result of example after example of women being disregarded and treated as less than human.

This has me in rage tears.

I thought it was a bunch of crap until I got pregnant. Reading was a challenge as was conversing with reasonably intelligent adults. :( I am sure it's different for everyone, all I know is I struggled.

Seriously what is the point of this? I am so sick of the fundies and their willful stupidity.

The best part about this video is the bit at the end. I have seen guys posting it as a retort to the cat calling video and it's clear that they didn't see or can't read words. Too funny.

I've been told by other people that it's bad there. We need to change the culture, women are human beings and not objects. :(

Arrgh, I can't wait for this cycle to be over, even though it's very likely these imbeciles are going to take the Senate. I am sick of all the lies and the sneaky pretending to be pro-choice.

Thank you for caring, I mean that.

"Is this noticeably more likely to happen when nobody else is around? Or maybe just when no other men (friends of the cat-caller don't count) are around?"

It's probably that. 2 summers ago I had my then boyfriend follow me around for a bit in the back bay area and he got to see several guys making loud remarks and

I think the word you're looking for is wonder.

I have no problem with people being kind, calling out to women when they are walking down the street isn't kindness and if you can't see the difference then you're part of the problem. I don't need someone who I don't know, telling me I look good. If I want an opinion,

Nice to know there are a few of us out here. :)

Fabulous how the apologists decide to tell you you're wrong. I am a rather curvy girl like the one in this video, walking down the streets in Boston can be terrifying. It's just stunning how people can see this video and think this is ok.

Absolutely agreed!

This Berkeley Alum wants nothing to do with the misogynist, racist, bigot, either.
I used to watch him and while I agree with some of his views, he really is just a giant bag of shit.

I was about 11. I had inherited from my sister a battery powered snoopy scissors and I don't know how I figured out it would be a makeshift vibrator, but I did. I was leaning back on the couch in the family room (no idea what I was thinking) and had Snoopys little nose rubbing me when my mom walked in. She was

Oh Joy! What a piece of shit that Elam guy is.

Birth control with your husband is still cheaper than a pregnacy and/or a baby.

That wasn't to you, it was to myself because of the idiot I replied to and then dismissed.

I always forget to check a commenter's history before replying. Grr.
