Why would they hire him? He was a joke in the NBA. If you’re going to pick a college coach at least pick someone slightly logical like jay wright or Shaka smart.

She may or may not be qualified we don’t know. There have been ton of great assistant coaches throughout sports that turn out to be really shitty head coaches. Just look at Belichick. Charley weis, Romeo crenel, Eric Mangini, josh mcdaniels. All assistants under him and all pretty terrible head coaches.
