Has anyone proven that "free to play" increases income for the developer? I understand how it can increase the user base, but that doesn't necessarily equal greater income. I would imagine at some point the micropayments would be able to overcome the subscription model...

sadly bachelor party and world cup will take up a lot of my weekend... I keep buying games I don't have time to play on Steam, so probably something there (just got Lead & Gold).

I'm pretty sure this is the RPG I played at a convention 16 years ago... a friend and me played... really liked it... and bought a copy to "share". I never saw the book again. It was a pretty early version... wish I had it now.
