Oh sh!t, I completely forgot about that. Any day now there will be tons of affordable small diesel pickups on our roads.... right?? :-(

Agreed. Both in combination. Save up and buy it in cash and get a couple year old car so the other guys takes the depreciation hit. (Also, no tax on used car says from private parties in my state so there's another chunk of change to save)
Good stuff. I drove a crappy old Toyota Corolla for many years (I had an old 4runner for adventures) and my friends would laugh occasionally at my clean, but VERY basic transportation. I would say "I love that car. I hate it too, but I love it. It is almost free to drive. No payments and I only do oil changes." It was…
Had both and have the 80 now. I recommend the 3rd gen 4runner to everyone based on repair costs and operating costs being lower.
You lost me at first and then I kept reading. Good man.
Darnit, can you make it so I'm not showing pending on Jalop?
Be able to identify a Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evo and Twin Cam Harley.
Agreed! As long as I remember to check the diff breathers and keep them from getting plugged, the seals are too. ;-)
Although the shocks are race shocks, fuel cell, pump etc are all changed the the rigidity of the truck is far greater than stock due to a Chromoly cage, the weight is also likely a lot higher. Bodes well for what that says about the axles, seals, bearings, etc etc.
The fact that they drove it home is impressive. We were almost able to drive this truck home, but an axle issue meant it had to be trailered. This was a stock mini class. (The employee who offered up his personal Tacoma's axle to keep the truck going sorta wanted to drive his truck home from Baja, selfish!)
looks neat, but could be the most impractical and all around poor rescue rig ever made. A SEMA truck.
Basic Carrera with no options for me. Keep it simple, stupid.
Measure their crawl ratio speed to see who is slower.
It's an exciting time. After ten flippin years there may be some new trucks in the works and there are some, like this, hitting the dirt already. Thank goodness.
I have always liked GMC's more. Not for any reason besides them being less common on the road. They seem to have a more commercial persona than a Chevy.
Can you add me so I'm not pending on Jalop?
This is clearly inflammatory, but does also hold a kernel of the reason for never letting Police or anyone else have more power than legally neccessary. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/23/okl…
Wow, on the I-10 heading towards Phoenix. That's a bit odd that it would be on such major roads headed into a large city. Jalops are ALWAYS watching...
I think it was fine. After moving to AZ I've gotten used to police showing me respect just like what I am, a law abiding citizen (For the most part I am anyway. Also, in my previous state I got used to cops pushing citizens around so I sure noticed a difference when I moved).
Who bets it's going to hit within 100lbs of the current Tacoma in all trims?
