He was on a break!

People can't it be both?

I won't diagree about wasting her character. The entire season has been a waste of Shosh, especially after last year in Japan. However, I never did see Shosh and Ray getting back together. Yes, I think they will always be friends.

RayBigal or AbiRay?

Disagree about RayBigal. I said upthread is that she's the woman that will make Ray feel good about himself and what he plans on doing with his wife. His experience with Marni probably soured him on really attractive women since she acted like she was doing him a favor by letting him fuck her.

As opposed to GORN-less.

Do you think if Sample were stillborn that Laird, who is probably a fan of Phish, would have named her Sample in a Jar?

I see the potential Ray and Abigail coupling as an affirmation of his desire to be with someone because of how they make you feel rather than how they look. He found Marni's self absorbed persona off-putting, especially her attitude that he should be glad to be fucking her. I could see the Ray Abigail thing

Warren fucking Zevon!

She just about grooved the Elsa/Frozen reference right over the proverbial plate but Pete had to talk about hummers.

You Betcha!. Personally looking forward to Michael Stuhbarg's Minnesota accent. Wondering about Ewan playing two characters as well.

Total makeup win. Not uncommon at the Oscars. Often some of the best performances from actors are ignored and some of the lesser performances are rewarded:

A series of Big little lies. Ziggy's dad loved him; Celeste had the perfect marriage; Madeline and Ed's lack of passion; Joseph and Madeline lying to his wife; Perry lying to therapist; Perry lying about those "business trips;" Celeste lying to the therapist; Renata trying to operate in both the business world and the

Madeline being drunk and exposed to the TRIPLE shocks of learning the identity of Jane's rapist ; that Celeste's "perfect" marriage was a facade; AND Perry was also abusing Celeste, would probably was like a deer in headlights. Also, the alcohol didn't help her reflexes.

I thought it was out of place. I said upthread maybe those interviews were part of a documentary, but abusive husband "accidentally falling" down a staircase is less interesting than The Staircase was. And as I also said upthread, this is a dog shit case. It's unwinnable. The women are just too sympathetic to a jury,

It's been a while since I used such a machine, but don't they have a series of clicks (like in the opening) warning that the machine is going to run out of money? The final click was signifying time had run out.

You have an unwinnable case. Even IF the Det. was crazy enough to arrest them, no district attorney would prosecute. That the Det. knew Jane, Celeste, Bonnie, and Madeline were lying was, IMO, irrelevant. You have four women corroborating each other's stories. Also, since they never were under oath when questioned,

The second Bonnie noticed Perry, she knew something was up. Rather than look away, like so many people to abuse, she went and followed Perry.

Boston Rob is better in terms of all-time ranking than Russell. Yes, he had some average performances the first and third time he played the game, but he was solid in the original All-Stars and total beast mode when he finally won. Russell was no less devious than Rob, but less adroit at manipulating people and then

Problem of course is that Hantz didn't win. IMO, he never could've despite getting to the final. When you burn players and alliances constantly, you rarely get votes from the jury. Plus, I believe both of his Finals were Final 3s as opposed to Final 2s (did Sandra win two F2s?)
