Of all the times I have seen her on the TV/Computer/Phone I don’t think I ever heard her speak/voice.

My wife just looked at a 2018 Mazda CX-5 Sport, and I told her to find a “touring” model... That “sport” seemed like it didn’t have anything in it....
Here in the UK, Sport was the top trim level for the Mazda2, at least for the 2007-2014 generation. Our 2008 Sport had 16" alloys, a rear spoiler, skirts, climate control, stability control and the 1.5-litre engine instead of the 1.35-litre of the lower trims.
I guess Honda did the opposite with the Fit, in as much as my old Fit Sport came with alloys, cruise control, keyless entry, foglights, a spoiler and a chrome exhaust tip.
It’s a small production run between 100 and 200 Mini EVs for now, but given how popular the Mini EV is, the cabrio model could end up being a mainstay of Wuling’s EV lineup.
But seriously, that’s all it takes! The bare minimum! And these days, it’s too much for about half the US (and Canada), so the ones that do ask the questions are the heros.
Man, the entire right-wing has turned into such a massive echo chamber/circlejerk that it’s hard to imagine anyone escaping once they’ve got more than a toe in those waters. So congratulations on beating the odds! 🎉
recovering from being “a deluded individual who finally started questioning” what you were being spoon-fed is not nothing; it actually gives me hope that this might happen to a few more Americans. I like to think of myself as “intelligent” and a “liberal” but my capacity for critical thinking and changing my mind once…
I grew up loving Reagan, eight years old staying up to watch the election results in 1984 just because my parents know how much it meant to me to see him actually win before I went to bed. First time I could vote for President I voted for Dole in ‘96, cause I sure as hell wasn’t gonna vote for Slick Willy.
Good for you. I am more liberal leaning and that what is so frustrating about conservatives. It’s one thing to disagree politically or have different ideologies. But ignoring observable facts, data and statics and just being contrarian just because is not helping anyone.
So if you want to hear something insane.... Let me tell you about my Dad. He came from a family that were reliably Republican. As a kid my grandmother always told me it was the right thing to do to vote Republican. I never questioned that I would always vote for the GOP when I grew up. I grew up and realized that no,…
At least you proved it isn’t impossible: when faced with how the Republican party has gone full-on fascist and became the Repub-nazis, you refused to be a sheeple and let the facts speak for themselves. Good for you.
I know two who held on to their kookie right wing, anti mask, anti vaxx beliefs to death...
Bah!
Do you know how many people never change their mind?
Far too many.
You rock.
Accept it and move on. :)
You’re my hero.
Seriously, someone who used their critical thinking skills, analyzed the news, the internet, whatever, and realized:
Fox = BullSh*t.
There are two Kei vans that I pass everyday to work and they make me smile. There is also a Subaru Sumo or something on a backroad that I use sometimes as well. The Subaru is for sale and I tried to talk my company’s owner into buying it as a company car, just so everyone would smile when they saw it.
And a reminder - in some cities, like NYC, Airbnb can be quite illegal, done by landlords because it’s more profitable than leasing their apartments, without any of the services that hotels provide. Like security. Like not being able to know if the previous ‘tenant’ made a copy of the keys.
