Wasn’t that thing sold as a Dodge in Mexico?

They had so many takes on this gag in the early seasons. :D

When he he was only 19, my father went from a Yamaha YG1 80 (his first motorcycle) to a two-stroke Bultaco Metralla 200 that had been used for racing. He said it was so fast [compared to the Yamaha] that it scared the crap out of him. I don’t know how he didn’t kill himself on that thing.

I have two cars; one bought, one inherited. I’ll discuss the former.

2015 Mazda CX-3 Sport. Years ago, I bought a brand-new Mazda2, and really liked it. For a subcompact hatchback, it surprisingly nice and enjoyable to drive.

I stupidly, STUPIDLY traded it in for a Fiat 500c because I wanted a small convertible. I

I’m grateful to Marcus Smith for acknowledging Dale Earnhardt, Jr.’s efforts in this matter. Dale has been extremely vocal at “bringing back” North Wilkesboro and used the full breadth of his burgeoning media empire to support the revival of this track.

His YouTube channel has released a 5-part series about racing

This, in my opinion, is one of her best recent public address videos. It felt like she wasn’t just speaking to the peoples of Great Britain, but to the whole world.

Harvick and his crew chief are going total scorched earth regarding this problem. They don’t care how many people within Nascar they upset; they feel this needs to be brought forth, acknowledged, and corrected NOW.

It feels reminiscent of when their team owner spoke regarding safety concerns at Talladega.

Sakaki+Maya is one of my favorite plot arcs in all anime.

Either it’s completely coincidence that you posted Tomo, or you recognized my avatar... suffice to say, one of my current cars actually has a plate that reads “NYAMO” :P

IIRC, those Dodge vans, in their history, made a pitstop in Taiwan. So it’s not a *direct* rebadge of a Delica, but rather a mid-’90s CMC-refreshed Delica.

I’m quite fond of Mazdas, but they have a bad habit of utilizing the “Sport” nomenclature to denote the decontented base model trim levels.

Oh, hey, a Mazda2 *Sport*… which means no cruise control, foglights, spoilers, and comes with steel wheels, wheelcovers, along with worse quality stereo and seats. Yay.

After massive environmental collapse/upheaval and the total fracturing of society [as we know it] as a whole, THIS will be the car of the future, still on sale today. Toyota Land Cruiser 70.

I’m extremely uncomfortable with being called that. I was simply a deluded individual who finally started questioning what I was being spoon-fed. Nothing more.

Honestly, I have to get this off my chest... my love of the automotive industry is what turned me away from the right-wing.

I was massively GOP for a long time, thanks to my father. He was a Limbaugh/Drudge/FoxNews addict. Otherwise a good, decent man, but a lifetime of believing right-wing propaganda. I, personally,

Agreed on the W115 diesels. My father had a 220D that racked-up almost 400k miles and was still going strong when he replaced it with a 1990 Dodge Monaco. The memories of that 220D make me smile.

Disagreed on the R107/C107s... over my life I’ve known a few people with them, and they most certainly did NOT bring joy.

Even in some smaller municipalities, single-day/single-night rentals are prohibited in residential zoning areas, yet Airbnbs/VRBOs still operate in violation. It’s a roll of the dice that local code enforcement and/or annoyed neighbors may report the violation and your rental may be forced to cancel.

Wish I had a better image of it (my dashcam doesn’t do well at night), but someone in my area has a tuned Suzuki Cappuccino. I’ve only seen it twice, and each time it brings the absolute biggest smile to my face.

I used to own a 500c... one of its few saving graces was the absolutely cheerful aesthetics.

They even make other cars look cheerful by association. Tell me this Ranchero doesn’t look happy.

Ok, I’d like to chime-in and comment on the falsity of large cars having large interiors.

My late father was an extremely large man. I don’t want to go into details, but he couldn’t fit in most cars.

He owned a large fleet of vehicles over the course of his life, and what he (and by extension, me) learned? In the modern
