You’d have to purposefully shift a BMW into neutral. You don’t move the gear stick to put the BMW into park, you just push the P button. You can’t really “accidentally” put the BMW into neutral while shifting into park.

It’s based on the E91, but has less cargo room than the wagon. The 3 series are considered the “compact” series of BMW, with the 5 series being midsized and 1/2 series being subcompact. I also have an Abarth 500, so I consider the X1 pretty large compared to that.
