As a watch collector for over 35 years, I believe that where this comparison breaks down is that as new models are released, your "old" Rolex will continue to appreciate, or at least hold its value. Here, as technology progresses, this watch will very quickly become worthless.

Get a FIDO-compliant USB key, and register it with Google as a second-level authentication. Then either you use the phone number generator, or you just plug the USB key when asked (obviously, in my case the latter stays at home in a safe place).

I think that the yellow spot which you see in that picture is not the engine still burning, but rather the rocket of the ejector seat of the one pilot who managed to eject and survive. I think that this is exactly their point! In order to preserve that exact type of cheese (and taste, etc.) they want to prevent other industrial cheese products from being able to use the same names/trademarks.
