Basidia are the spore producing structures of certain fungus, case you wondered what the hell basidia are, like this Lions Mane (Hericium Erinaceous) I let fully mature. Feels like they’re always a little out of focus, or maybe they just look like it.
Possibly nsfw after the jump. (Mod edit: yeah, NSFW, but hey man, art. -CB)
13F, -16F with the windchill.
I’m obviously very fond of these two perspectives of my car. Snowtires+RWD+LSD and no t/c is a great time.
Molly loves snow. Molly loves everything really. To be a dog.
“Amazing” black and white.
It was sunny this afternoon and I didn’t have anything super important to do at work so I took off early and went to a junkyard in the boonies. Had to stop at home to grab my camera and the dog convinced me she should come too.
I was trying to look up the rules out of curiosity, found this https://photography.kinja.com/the-rules-for-photography-1037400051
I didn’t check the undersides for pores. Really liking this telephoto lens for taking mushroom pics. Last pic was taken with my old lens. I always found these fungi quite frustrating to take pictures of with my cell phone. Always seemed to come out slightly blurry on the white sections.
Brought my camera to work and got up on the roof this morning. I am very shaky after my coffee.
Showing motion using the rule of thirds. Here’s another one I thought of using but wasn’t really satisified with.
New lens was on my porch when I went home for lunch so naturally I took some pictures of my dog. That one is 125mm have the iso at 2500. So it’s a little noisey but I wouldn’t be able to hold still long enough if I turned it down. Shutter speeds 1/250 f5.6
Cropped a few of these.
