I’m just jumping in here to say you’re an awesome parent-- and I mean that. Your kid is going to absorb these lessons even more when they are able to associate them with pop culture and media (way more than abstractly in a book or class). Well done!

Thankfully, their mother actually appears to care about their well being and education, so she refused to let them attend. They instead go to a really well-regarded private school.

I feel like the normal fast food/ fast casual lunches I used to get during my work week are now much more expensive than before, which makes it harder to justify the splurge. When I could grab something filling for $8-$10, it was a lot easier to justify than even fast food being $15-$20 now.

I get that dating when you’re a twice-divorced single mother is probably going to be a lot more difficult

And those are the prices before all the stupid Ticketmaster fees. My Beyonce ticket had $180 of Ticketmaster fees added to it, which is absurd.

Usually, when states take this kind of a stand, it has to do with traveling.
