Jerry lives at the Overlook Hotel?
From what I hear she’s great to work with.
I don’t see what’s so derivative about Discovery; it seems to me like the plot elements the show’s used so far have been mostly original to the Trek universe. I remember Zack Handlen said in one of his reviews that the show’s plot elements make it odd the show had to be a prequel(although I guess that’s a moot point…
So what’s our opinion of Tina Fey right now?
Ritter’s gotta be up there with Glover as far as surprisingly common last names for actors who aren’t related.
I think Discovery’s actually developed a pretty good character ensemble.
I don’t think a 2-minute montage proves that. I don’t have Paramount+ right now to check back on the season, but I remember the last 20 minutes or so of the season finale being a pretty gentle ending to the season. Not to mention the Riker/Troi episode.
Whatever you think of its quality, I don’t see how Picard is super grimdark.
What was your reaction when they announced The Lego Movie?
If you think Picard is depressing I wonder what you thought of DS9.
I wish First Contact had made first contact day September 8, 2066.
I think I’m pretty consistent in that I rarely if ever criticize actors for the morality of a movie they’re in.
“It. Has. ENORMOUS. Power.” Sorry I haven’t seen his dick pics.
Weinstein was a Hollywood exec, though. Could Bezos ruin an actor’s career by saying they’re difficult to work with?
I wonder if you also think video games cause violence.
Steve Jobs himself couldn’t complain about the film on account of being, you know, dead. You said his estate didn’t complain, but his widow inherited most of his money and she tried to stop the film from getting released.
Funny you should mention Steve Jobs because it was reported his widow tried to stop the film from being released.
“You’re not an asshole, Mark, you’re just trying so hard to be one” seems to me like a bit of a backhanded compliment after everything he’s done in the movie. I don’t remember people taking his portrayal in the movie as a positive one.
Then why do we have a movie centered around a rather unflattering portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg? It’s not like he’s not influential enough.
Is he more powerful than Trump was? I wonder because comedians didn’t hesitate to make fun of Trump even though he’s notoriously vindictive.
