Origins and Odyssey are amazing RPGs, but bad Assassin’s Creed games. The first time I perched on top of a base and studied the enemy patrols for my ideal take-down route, and dropped down on the first guy.....only to have him take like half damage or whatever, and alert the entire base, I knew this was no longer

So like all journalists talking about how great manual transmission cars are and how automakers should make more cars for the enthusiast crowd... you’re going to buy one, right? Right???

The wing not being available is actually doing potential buyers a favor. It looks like the kind of thing you’d buy aftermarket on eBay for $150 including free shipping that would get installed at the same time as the fart cans.

F is for friends who do stuff together?

How about this: if you see ANYTHING out of the ordinary, whether it’s in your lane or 4 lanes away, you should immediately take full control of your vehicle and retain it until you are clear of the disruption.

Nah, pretty simple. Don’t be a dumb ass and assume the car can drive itself.

Airbags are not supposed to go off unless the crash severity is bad enough to warrant it. The windshield didn’t even get smashed in from this impact, only the front empty frunk crumple zone got bent up.

AEB and all major level 2 self driving cars on the market DO NOT STOP FOR STATIONARY OBJECTS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS BY DESIGN. This is not just Tesla. It’s a driver not paying attention, period. Blaming the car is absurd.

That’s a driver failure.

Toyota has neither a modern I6 design in production nor a modern RWD sports car chassis that can fit one, and what little money they would make in a dwindling niche market (especially now that the car market in general is in the toilet) is not worth the R&D to rectify that.

Fired Take: Guess I’ll buy a Tempo.

So your telling me that if I had $40k to spend, its great to buy this Mustang that seats 2 humans and 2 mini humans and gets 15c/25h mpg but its TERRIBLE that I buy a F150 that is $40k, seats 5 to 6 adult humans, and gets 21c/28h mpg?

The design is crap. The technical specs aren’t great.

CP. There’s a guy near me who drives one of these and it looks massively inconvenient for anything other than military use. They are as wide as an F350, loud, probably have bad visibility, tougher to get parts for than most vehicles, and that interior is very spartan. I’m sure they’re good for what they’re meant for

If you just want an offroad capable vehicle and don’t want a Wrangler, I’d buy a G-wagen for $25k that would be far easier to live with in the civilian world. Even a Puch import would at least fit in a parking spot while being slow and loud.

Dude. It’s been around for a while. Ever watch Discovery Channel?

Just googled mountain of salt

Well, straight line performance is one thing, but combine that with mid-engine balance/dynamics it shouldn’t be compared against a Mustang anymore.  Compare it against the Cayman and 911 I say.  It’s a bargain on every measure.

You’re also not buying a new C8, so GM cares very little about your thoughts. Secondly, you are comparing a base car vs the top of the line Mustang. The Mustang has a 200+ hp advantage.

The base Corvette isn’t supposed to be quicker in it’s base trim than the absolute top of the line Mustang. That’s just not a fair comparison. The upcoming performance trims will do exactly what you’re talking about.
