Good for you Serena. Now quit slacking off and find your racket.
On the plus side, Juan stranded three base runners.
I’ve never heard this cat say anything substantive. I dig he has a tough gig, but I don’t think he has the dynamism necessary to change the conversation. Seems like a nice enough guy, but leader of American workers he is not
Professional sports exist as a business and will pretty much always proceed as such.
“I understand completely the business side of things and everything— but”
Price gouging rules are unbelievably stupid. They only slow down and lead to poorer asset allocation. Let people charge what they want and let the market arbitrage the market away is what I was always taught by my favorite college econ professor... Rent seek and you sha’ll find!
This is ridiculous! There was no price gouging concerning the water at Best Buy or Home Depot. They sold the water for what they normally sold it for in the coolers individually x 12 or 24. There are literally hundreds of other stories to tell, yet you picked the one that’s a lie. You people make my head and heart…
Like old Toohotformilk there, I’ve also lived through plenty of hurricanes. When you’ve been through enough, you stop worrying about them and you don’t prepare like it’s your first time - you get some water and plywood the windows and hunker down. My dad, who’s in his 70's and has ridden out every hurricane that’s…
I going to guess that you rooted for Javert?
Horseshit like this is why people hate libertarians.
You must have large, muscular forearms, what from pulling up so hard on those bootstraps of yours.
people who did not prepare, buy supplies in advance, or evacuate
We probably should not be humoring your idiocy, but what exactly is the supermarket going to do with those goods? Are they going to sell old bread and milk when they reopen after the flood?
Holy shit, you suck.
If I owned the supermarket I would have insurance and I wouldn’t sell flood damaged food. What if you didn’t have the means to evacuate or prepare enough supplies for the storm?
Yes, it is okay that victims of one of the worst flooding disasters in the nation’s history are finding food and water where they can. If I’m the owner of that supermarket, I’m not going to whine about a few thousand dollars worth of staples coming off the shelf. That’s probably why I have insurance.
you are a shit person and if there is any good in this world you don’t hold an ounce of authority over anyone or anything
It’s only criminal looting if the perps are black. If they’re white, it’s upstanding citizens doing the best they can to provide for their families in a time of crisis.
Have you always been a piece of shit, or is it something you’ve worked towards?
