Am I understanding this right - there's up to 12 videos showing the rapes but the DA says that there's not enough to go on for a criminal case?

I'm not a real MMA fan, but that's always one of the more troubling bits about the sport to me. I, of course, get it that securing victory is important, but the amount of (additional?) brain damage that these guys seem to incur after a knockout feels completely excessive and barbaric to me.
If you cannot rent, but, or build a building necessary to conduct your business without public subsidy, can you really claim to be economically viable?
At the same time, MLB blacks out in-market games on its subscriptions services—MLB.tv and Extra Innings.
I prefer Dan Patrick by leaps and bounds over Cowherd and Rome. DP has much less dead air, will ask his guests tougher questions. But the big thing to me is when talking about themselves, Patrick comes off as more self-deprecating and playing a character (especially with Danettes chirping in) while Cowherd and Rome…
Am I alone in thinking DP has a pretty good show? I mean, Mclovin gets on my nerves but I'm fairly sure that's his intended purpose. But when I work from home, it's DP I keep on for ambient distraction.
This is because Bud Selig is still under the impression that people use antennas to get games broadcast into their homes.
Richard Sherman and his girlfriend are expecting the birth of their first child in a week or so. But if he (it's a boy, and they've got a name picked out, but won't share it yet) comes on Sunday, Sherman says "obviously that'd change some things."
The amazing thing is that Goodell makes 44 million to shield the nfl owners from scrutiny, his only actual job, and he does it fucking TERRIBLY!
McNair is absolutely a first class asshole. Guy is one of the biggest political donors amongst NFL owners. And it all goes to government-drowning, tax-hating, right-wingers. Wouldn't be a problem save for the fact that he is all too happy to take hundreds of millions in public money to pay for his stadium. Fuck that…
Roger Goodell, the senator's son, has never held a job outside of the NFL. Is it any wonder he has zero sense of perspective and carries with him a huge amount of arrogance and douchebaggery?
Tom, have you learned nothing from Russ Wilson these past few days? Jon Ryan didn't do the belt move at Mike McCarthy. It was all God. Setting it up. Making it dramatic. Mixing up Seattle's punter and quarterback for 3 quarters because he was drunk.
See, this is one of those stories where there isnt a good guy. There are bad people acting like complete jackwagons and making the stop more difficult than it has to be (also, STAY IN THE FUCKING CAR). There are then bad cops who zap some guy for the crime of being an idiot. Now, I'm all for shocking the shit out…
This seems extremely sketchy... If a cop pulls me over and is wearing a uniform, Im not asking him for his fuckin birth certificate...wtf.
What? How is that "needless to say?" This is such a weird goddamn comment.
They showed the weather forecast, and it said "partly sunny".
Allenby is a world-class golfer. He should be able to get out of a tough lie.
"It's such a shame that people are focusing on whether the story is true."
The last person this is on is Bostick, and fuck that coach for giving him shit when he went over to the sidelines. The ball does crazy shit on onside kicks. Wanna give somebody shit? Mike McCarthy called that game into the fucking ground for GB.
I had that attitude in every job until I turned 30. This isn't a slam against you...but they'll find a way to get by if you leave. If you don't want to be there, truly, get out. Just make sure the people you think it will impact know how you feel and you should be able to laugh about the hole thing later over beers.
