Is Ginger really decimating the challenges, though? To me she's just such a basic queen when compared to the last couple of seasons. She may be winning, and she may even be performing the best, but I just don't see her stacking up against queens like Jinkx, Alaska, Bianca or, honestly, even Raven.

Not necessarily. Pearl was gone for a while but they only needed a few sentences. Katya made it sound like they needed all that time to write but no one had to do more than make a few jokes.

But it was clearly a pretty equal collaboration. I think Pearl took the "straight" role to let Trixie shine since she'd be the one coming back to the competition, but Trixie didn't carry Pearl at all.
