See, here I was going to say that she hasn't been able to get a job since In Living Color went off the air, because girl is Benita Buttrell telling us how much she LOVES Miss Jenkins.

I actually think Michelle has been pretty consistent in what she's looking for. She'll always tell a body queen to show more than just skin. She'll tell a comedy queen that she still needs to show some glamour and she'll tell the cold ice princesses, or the overly polished, that she wants to see some personality and

I don't really believe there's a "Mrs. Kasha Davis." I think Terence Stamp took the TARDIS and is calling himself "Mrs. Kasha Davis" to research his role in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

He was on Wiseguy. I assume that's where Gilligan saw him. It's also where Kevin Spacey got his start as one of the creepiest organized crime figures, ever, Mel Profitt. I was a huge fan of the show, so maybe that's why I think more people are as familiar with him as I am.

Thanks. And despite my complaint about the relationship at the heart of this season, I still like the show very much. Which is probably why I'm way more nitpicky about those elements than I'd be otherwise.

Kind of amazing they could get Banks. Or maybe I think he's a more known quantity than he is. Whatever brought it about, though, I'm glad he's part of both shows.

Thanks. And my apologies for the kneejerk response.

Thanks for patronizing.

I'd agree if it were any other actor than Jonathan Banks. He's probably one of the premiere "Hey! It's that guy!" guys. You see him pop up on a show and you know he's not a one-off character. He's going to factor into the main story.

No, it's the storytelling trope called "telling the story." Duh.

A great bit of dialogue to be sure but Bob Odenkirk is such a master of selling it. Both the writers and Odenkirk must be in heaven working together.

I don't disagree, just saying why she said she gave it a B. I loved the episode, was not familiar with the characters prior to the premiere, but have been binge watching Breaking Bad ever since. I still have the final season ahead of me, so I don't know how Mike's story plays out but I think Banks has always been the

I agree with this. One scene with Banks and you're like "What's up with the parking attendant?" He clearly wasn't there for lack of better opportunities. I'm just taking her at her word that that's why she gave it a B.

I just watched the end of the fourth season of Breaking Bad. As soon as Mike started talking about how he failed Matt I said, out loud and to myself, that explains his soft spot for Jesse.

His name is Jonathan Banks.

No, it was the Matlock suit.

The review says it was a B because it's the first episode that might fall flat for non Breaking Bad fans. But the reviewer clearly loved the episode.

At the end of the first season I thought the logical next season would focus on the Richie & Patrick saga with Kevin being the complication. Representing who Patrick thinks he should be with versus Richie, who was being presented as who Patrick should be with.

Because they're assholes. :)

Maybe because a good friend of mine at work is here on a work visa that basically has him tied to this company for at least another year, but the idea of him falling out of favor with the company is a big deal to him. Of course, I think he's an alien of high, but not extraordinary, ability. :)
