Is is that you’re not fond of vs fighting games?

From my understanding animation in Japan usually equates to low wages and long hours without much perks...there’s a few articles on Kotaku about how those problems have been causing rapid burnout and disinterest to move forward among young people in the industry.

Honest question: We know his stance on much of Western (see American) culture/media, but does he have a history of extending those views to those people, including fans or prospective hires?

This is the longest Youtube style comment/complaint I’ve ever read.

For one, its not like they’re the same game. Same genre? Yes...kinda...

Considering the guy wanted to “play” at being a terrorist, he’s lucky he wasn’t deemed an enemy of the state and taken out by a drone.

Just an update: There are 16 characters total in the final game according to several fighting game youtubers and IGN who had footage from the event.
I’m not 100% on the accuracy of this since it was being translated, but a few stated the roster was intentionally made up of core, popular characters from 1 & 2 plus a few

“Out in 2021"

That does sound fun!

Ah! I recognize her now (and that I’ve seen more of the content released from today). I’m fuzzy on anyone from the series post SamSho 2.

Or perhaps they decided to add to the role with the least amount of variety (2 jobs, one of which isn’t very popular due to weird mechanics).

From what they’ve talked about its sticking to its roots, which is great IMO. It seems like between this, SFV, MK11, and to a degree UNIEL, there’s a resurgence in appreciation for more simple, footsie based fighting games.

I like what they’re doing with the roster- Main stays from 1 & 2 with a few follow up fan favorites from later games. Most of the later game characters got a little too weird and anime for the setting.

Google doesn’t have a great track record of catering to folks with poor internet speeds, so I don’t think they’ve likely prepared a solution to this at all really (or at least won’t comment on it. None of the reports I’ve seen today have included official statements on the matter, though I don’t know if they’re going

Though I am totally on the side that says “Driving skills/awareness deteriorate as one gets older” (I’ve actively seen this with my parents who scare the ever loving shit out of me when I ride as a passenger), AARP will lobby hard and likely win against any action that seems to target the elderly.

3 years sounds a bit much (if you have a specific reasoning behind that number I wouldn’t mind hearing it), though I think the principle stands. Maybe 6 years when the average DL expires (in the US at least). The idea being, “You need to renew your DL? Lets see if you know what you’re doing still.”

New book from Jason Schreier: “One Step Forward, Five Steps Back: How Publishers Kill Flagship Titles”.

Its the kind of music you would listen to while playing an action game or exercising, but likely wouldn’t blast out loud in public.

Its the internet. We’ll give them something unique like Fire/Electric and they’ll still be outraged because 4x Ground damage.

Nah, in 2019 I think its fine to have a male, green, fictional baby monkey named Buttercup.
