I'm calling bullshit on this one. I have a whole stack of current-gen games, and NOT ONE OF THEM *requires* me to be online, or check-in.

oh yes it is, and you have go online and download the "Day One Patch" to disable the 24-hour mandatory check-ins ....

Whatevs. I had way more fun with multiplayer in KZ3 than any other game on the PS3.

I just wanted to say that I LOVE out of nowhere announcements, and I for one, think the industry would do well to have many more of them! I keep waiting for the out of nowhere announcement that The Last Guardian will be going on sale tomorrow.

Killzone 3: Search and Destroy, Search and Retrieve, and Capture and Hold. As an Engineer or Tactician in Capture and Hold, I could practically hold down two out of three capture points by myself on most maps (if I had a good team backing me up). LOVED that shit!!!

30% of games are survival/horror/zombie
50% are first person shooters
5% are Assassins Creed
5% are Grand Theft Auto
5% are JRPGs
and finally, 5% are "other".

What would REALLY be "interesting", would be for them to make games that fit into the last category.

I think perhaps you may underestimate the short memories and gullible nature of the American consumer. (Maybe you are not from the U.S.?)

Whatever, they never had it in the first place. It was all a marketing ploy from the start. (Unless of course, they could have actually gotten away with it ......)

I have been saying for over a week now (since I first read about the MS DRM "scheme") that it was a marketing ploy. A reverse psychology bait-and-switch so to speak, "Hey look! ... we're not the asshats you thought we were at all. In fact ... we're YOUR HEROES!!"

So physically ... yeah, she's just cute. What really makes her attractive is not so much her looks, as her attitude that she doesn't give a flying crap WHAT you think is attractive ... and THAT my friends, is hot.
