Klay has a much more limited game than Butler. Both are great at defense and Klay is a better shooter obviously but he’s much worse at getting his own shot and taking people off the dribble. Boogie is way less efficient, doesn’t play defense, and volatile as you mentioned. Gobert is limited offensively, and Kristaps

Nutmeg is another tough one. I’d up the fat or stear into the curve and throw cinnamon, chocolate, coffee, etc. if you’re making something sweet.

You can rebalance your dishes if you put too much of those. Coriander seed overdoses are unsaveable.

Coriander seeds are the worst to overspice with. They’ll singlehandedly make a dish soapy and inedible.

white person’s Mexican food that has no flavor other than “overwhelming cumin.”

Thanks, honestly seems like more trouble than it’s worth. Especially if you aren’t a frequent flyer.

But what is the potential in travel redemption exactly? Does booking through UR give you better prices than using Kayak or Priceline? I would think that the latter two offer more flexibility and choices. If it does give a better price, is it because of the conversation rate of points to dollars or what?

And in the future they will be, but we’re not talking about the future we’re talking about right now. If you can’t recognize progress then that’s on you.

100k is more than enough to get by in NYC. I say this as someone getting by with much less than that.

It’s dated in the sense that it looks like other movies made at about the same time.

Lol keep drinking the film school kool-aid. The language of visual narrative has far surpassed Battleship Potemkin. Again, that film is one of the most important films, but it’s dated. Filmmakers have learned to use a multitude of editing styles nowadays and it makes for more compelling films.

I’ve been thinking about this recently after watching Night of the Hunter and believe that there needs to be a distinction between “greatness” and “importance”. Citizen Kane may very well be the most important film ever made, but I don’t think it’s the greatest. The historical importance of a film doesn’t have any

The Third Man was interesting, but having grown up with Spongebob, the soundtrack ruined it for me.

I agree, but some people do think that Bill Russell is the GOAT cus rangs.

You’ve had some pretty bad takes before but this absolutely takes the cake.

It doesn’t make sense to judge food solely by the sum of its parts. Anchovy paste is fucking disgusting on its own, but it can add tons of umami to the right recipe.

Obviously he contributes a great deal towards that, but he’s not the sole reason. DJ and Blake are/have been top 5 (maybe top 3) players at their positions. JJ is one of the best shooters in the NBA. To say that he hasn’t had good teammates is just false.

If you filter for only the playoffs, Chris Paul gets dropped to 30th in Offensive WS, 33rd in VORP, and 54th in WS which seems much more reasonable. Some of the other stats still have him as a top 5 player in the playoffs, but they don’t reach Jordan levels of dominance.

I don’t fully buy the quality of teammates argument. The Clippers bench blows year after year, but they consistently have one of the best starting lineups in the league.
