All I meant by that was that both LeBron and Westbrook allow their teammates to find better shots. Obviously their games are very different.

Use your brain. Who is passing at the proper time to the proper place? Westbrook. Who is creating that shot opportunity? Westbrook. He gets his teammates better shots, the same way LeBron does.

That’s not what we’re talking about though. Kawhi, as good as he is, wouldn’t make the Thunder a better team. He doesn’t break down offenses the way Russ does. Nobody on the Thunder can create their own shot. They rely on Russ to create havoc and find good shots in the confusion. Kawhi can’t fill that role.
