Operation Restore Hope in 1993. Was part of the initial push into Mogadishu. My unit ended up the unofficial bodyguards for Hussein Farah since he was the only Marine who spoke the language and who his father was.

I miss Mogadishu. I wish I could have been there at a better time. Every noncombatant I interacted with was wonderful to us.

Even BC compares favorably to vanilla. Fuck, as a Paladin I wasn’t relegated to being a buffbot or healer. I loved Ret and Prot and BC let me actually do that in a viable way.
