What’s the over-under on this being a NYPD employee or relative of one?
What’s the over-under on this being a NYPD employee or relative of one?
With all the horror stories regarding them I’d rather just get a hotel and not take a chance.
Until a defense spending amendment gets added to it...
“My super low-low prices are the real crime here!”
Oooo, didn’t know this one. Thanks!
Regarding electricity:
Hell when I was 10 and at a friends house, his babysitter (in her 20's) was cooking something and started a grease fire. She was about to dump a jug of water on it and I had to stop her and find the extinguisher. Again, I was 10.
Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but can’t the danger from a kitchen appliance on an extension cord be mitigated by making sure you’re using one with the right gauge of wire?
“He recommends relying on extension cords only for the temporary use of low-voltage devices, like charging your phone, or plugging in a TV.”
Who screwed up? Wasn’t this supposed to be a slide show?
I think you’ll find that if you aren’t a ‘she’, and you aren’t a ‘he’, you are an ‘it.’
I hope you don’t think they still employ an editor here.
Does anyone else here disable all correction policies in Word, Chrome, and other software so that you can use Oxford commas? I’m in IT, and I know how to spell. If I type something, I don’t one of Bill Gates’ bastard stepchildren trying to autocorrect me.
Can I still put 2 spaces after a period?
You dry your dishes by hand? But a dishwasher doubles as a drying rack. I just open the door and leave it that way until things are dry, then put them away. I'm almost never in such a hurry that I have to put away the dishes NOW.
If you’re opening the dishwasher at the end of the cycle to put in the towel, you can just open the dishwasher and let the steam out, no towel required.
Is this even needed? I just open my dishwasher when it’s done, pull all the racks out and by the time everything is cool enough to touch, it’s dry. I call BS on this one and any perceived positive results are likely psychological. Even most of the comments on the TikTok say it doesn’t work.
Sweet potato noodles for japchae are always on my list. So easy to make for a weeknight dinner if only you have that key ingredient. We always keep a can or two of lychee on hand because just dumping it in a bowl with ice is a great dessert for a hot day in a pinch. Kiwi knives are super cheap, super sharp, and lasted…
This is way off the dishwasher topic, but, things have changed for cars. The ‘drying agent’ used in car washes is available, highly concentrated, by the gallon, at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts for under $30. Hmmmm, would this work in the dishwasher? Might not be food grade car wash drying agent.
I use the Meguiar’s M799 Pro Ceramic Bead Booster as a“rinse aid”. Wash the car as normal, and then while it’s still wet lightly spritz the entire car with the bead booster. Give it a slight extra rinse and then dry. Really helps with water spots and leaves a nice easy water repellent shine. Dry the roof and…
As one who had to use a w/c for several years, let me tell you we do NOT expect all of this. I was carried into many places that had accessibility challenges, and even at my parents’ house, I did NOT expect them to do things like make the kitchen meet my needs.
