If you’ve owned a car made after the 80's, it had a steering wheel lock. They’ve been mandatory since then; and they aren’t to keep people from stealing your car, they’re meant to keep the wheels locked while you’re parked on a hill.

It is discouraging to think that people who can pass a driver’s license test are so freakin’ stupid, that they are clueless about a feature that has been on cars for decades now. What’s next? An article about how to unbuckle a seatbelt? How about doing one about turn signals, just for BMW drivers.
I’m genuinely curious how this person came up w/ the “$5,500" asking price.

Just ask, “Did you receive my gift?”, and leave it right there.
Hard disagree there. You know how we know they aren’t essential? Because the world worked just great for the previous few decades before them, nor does it particular screw things up when they aren’t used. They can wait with the rest of us irrelevant folks.
It’s a reflection of contemporary American culture. Wealth inequality in this country is at its worst point since the Gilded Age, and it’s harder and harder every year for poor folks to move up in society, yet everybody is aspirational. Nobody feels like they’re working-class, they’re just not millionaires yet. And…
I work in advertising (commercial production) and I can tell you exactly why: people take themselves too seriously nowadays.
That would be more legit for sure, but then you have a lot of expenses around setting up and maintaining a trust. IIRC, one reason that the “Montana gambit” works is that state makes it very easy and cheap to setup an LLC. No idea if VT is the same.
The wrinkle to watch out for here is that in most states, it’s *illegal* to have a vehicle registered in another state for more than X amount of time. Typically, 30 days. Whether it is enforced or not varies wildly, but in general, if your state has an annual tax on vehicles, don’t try this.
um, don’t safety inspections cover the nagging part? you can put it off as long as you want until you’re not allowed to renew your registration.
If your 401k balance is only $200K at 60-69, you can kiss the idea of retirement goodbye.
Just what 2020 needs- more ways to be sh*tty to each other.
“Why don’t you just put food in front of them? This is dinner. Eat it or don’t.”
Picky eater? Bad eater? what is the point of hiding the truth of this? I understand not forcing them to vomit, but being a picky eater is a failing and knowing you are a deficient person is fine, normal, and important.
There was just a story this weekend about a ton of ballots found tossed. Again. Vote in person.
If you can go to the grocery store, you can go vote in person.
Erm, can you prove they looked at your design and wholesale copied it? There's plenty of examples of a similar design on the Internet...
Ehh. I can see how someone might come up with the "hello in speech bubbles" idea on their own.
