Agree, but it never hurts to have backup. I usually carry my Real ID DL, my passport card, and my passport. Getting my Real ID was just a matter of flashing my passport card when I renewed my DL.

The problem isn’t with the fast drivers, it’s with the slow drivers who hog the passing lane. I drove up to Traverse City and Mackinac over the summer, following the +10 rule, and I “ran into” multiple drivers driving at or below the 75 speed limit in the passing lane. Lead, follow, or get out of the way!

No, we need a special plate for driver’s who can’t drive fast, and force them stay in the slow lane. Normal drivers will be allowed to pass in the hammer lane.
