Fit, finish and materials are what usually differentiate a luxury marque these days. Mazda 3's are quiet and ride nicely.
The Tesla is okay for materials, while not being great, but their fit, finish and overall workmanship is bested by most econo-brands.

After being in a Model 3 I can say the 2018 Accord has a far more luxurious interior.

With most “luxury” brands you get an interior.

Luxury?  Yeah ok.  They’re still going through build quality growing pains.  

I’m sorry, I could not consider something that minimalist “premium”. Price tag alone does not make one premium.

Other luxury brands will catch back up when they start manufacturing electric vehicles, which they inevitably will. Also, it feels weird calling Tesla a luxury vehicle. I know they’re expensive, but luxury isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when I think about their cars.
