Hey, asshole, women have been denied jobs for being women for most of human history. Not for being man killers, and not in some hypothetical comment thread either. The power dynamic between the sexes is fucked up, and we need to course correct. Maybe go cry Marie Curie a river about how hard life is for you in this

The difference is that he is a dude, and also you’re missing the entire point. Things aren’t equitable just because you replace a word with another word.

Ironic that you’re demonstrating a lack of empathy in this comment.

I recently worked at gamestop and I can confirm this is happening. I wasn’t told to ignore new game stock, but I was advised to embellish the amount customers had saved / would have saved in the past year with a power up pro card.

Careful not to retaliate with violence against potential future threats. That never works. Public opinion will always be against it.

Man discovers new coin in Donkey Kong 64!

this is the most tenuous connection to politics I’ve ever seen.

hey, you don’t have to be here

it’s actually a troll ;)

Nope! I’m actually mostly on the other side of this issue. Just in this case, you’re taking it way too far. Art (and clothing) has shown and accentuated the human body since the beginning of time. The question is, does it make this person into a sexualized object? I think you’d have to be nuts to say so in this case.

Not everything needs to be puritanical. The male ryder is also designed to be sexy in a way that’s tasteful.

I think there comes a point where you’re just nitpicking. It’s not tasteless at all, you’re being a bit ridiculous.

I mean, mass effect is calling back to a specific era. The armor doesn’t have individual cups, the boobs aren’t accentuated in terms of color choice (your eye is drawn to the blue/white trapezoid on her sternum, which directs you upwards to her face) and “form fitting armor” signifies a light, speedier approach to

My bad! Honest mistake, I may have skimmed it a little.

Respectful counterpoint:

Dragon age 2 wasn’t great, but it had the same DNA as the first game for the most part. Inquisition was just another open world slog, removing everything bioware does well. I remember plenty of quests from DA2 but I’m having a hard time remembering a single one from inquisition.

A more likely reason is this:

I think a more important issue than what her body type is under those heavy clothes is keeping to her standardized silhouette, designwise.

No, he’s saying they’re free to talk about whatever they want... Somewhere else.

I also just started The Witcher 3. Got it on a holiday sale for PS4. I’m loving it so far, it reminds me of Dragon Age: Origins, which was the only good one to my mind.
