Be careful of ubiquitous cameras. They can be used to scan your retinas and store the information for future use. This particular biometric is very easy to capture and the airlines don’t have a privacy policy that tells you what information they are capturing, how they are using it, or with whom they’re sharing it.

What is wrong with it? I find all the functions simple, if you don’t understand it, their is a video guide on how to use it right and you can even take a one week senior course to figure it out... 😁

The only time I ever played a song on repeat was by accident. I must have listened to Turning Japanese for 15 minutes before I realized it wasn’t just a reeeeaaly long song.

So instead of one button it’s now two??  People really get upset about the dumbest things.

I haven’t placed a single song on repeat since POD’s Youth of the Nation on my Sony Discman. This is not a problem I would have noticed.

i saw it just starting to come up here on cape cod on the way to the vet, it was beautiful.

The opposite is true in the US. SMS is unlimited in virtually all phone plans, an SMS messenger comes installed by default, majority of users

Except if it falls back to SMS then it’s no longer encrypted so if that’s your requirement then Whatsapp remains the safer choice.

Or you could use WhatsApp for everything, cuz lets be honest who uses SMS anymore?

Even with the option available to use iMessage, in Mexico we prefer to use Whatsapp, because is the app used by everyone and we do not have to remember who is using what.

A few years ago, I worked at a school that dropped PE all together to make room for more academic classes.

“Security operations at airports have not been impacted by a non-existent sick out.”

TSA jobs pay absolute shit. I guarantee you, anybody who was depending on their TSA job was probably living paycheck to paycheck even if they had little to no debt. Especially when you think about the typical cost of living in areas that have busy/high traffic airports.

the theory that a passenger wouldn’t bring a bomb onto a plane because it also would kill the passenger who brought it.

Trumpers.

“based on the theory that a passenger wouldn’t bring a bomb onto a plane because it also would kill the passenger who brought it.”

You’re telling me people won’t work in a job where they have to deal with the general public without getting paid?

5G does solve a problem, just not the most obvious one. With greater speeds and very low latency compared to LTE, it’s supposed to be ideal for IoT devices, including self-driving cars. Cell phones, really, are beside the point with this next-generation network, and I would agree with the article that people shouldn’t
