...eh, I don’t exactly see anything wrong with a company saying “don’t use our IP to advertise your program that’s used to play pirated versions of our products”.

Atlus is within their legal right to force a DMCA takedown of footage/references to the game, but if they think they can stop the emulator, well... lol, good luck with that. Emulators tend to win those court cases.

Not sure what is there to joke about. The game was more fun, the story was more interesting, the visuals were better. That’s not even a competition in my book.

Huh? I found it to easily be the best in the entire series, and one of my GoTYs.

I think this is worse than WB, and 2K has been doing it for years. The biggest difference to me is with WB (let’s say Shadow of War for example) the micro transactions seem to be built specifically to reduce time spent playing the game. But if you’re buying that sort of game, you’re buying it to play it so it doesn’t

I have completed 8 playthroughs of the original trilogy and essentially have them memorized. I still enjoyed Andromeda, flaws and all.

Devil’s Advocate here. Today we see PDP get DMCA’s because he dropped a racial slur. What’s to stop a game dev tomorrow from hitting another Youtuber with DMCA because they’re playing a game from a rival company? Or because the Youtuber was discussing his/her favorite brand of whiskey, and the game dev doesn’t want to

Nope. It’s not like being dropped by a sponsor at all. Because one case is about a sponsor, and the other is not. Dropping someone you’re sponsoring is withing your rights, filing a DMCA claim for a game you have given everyone permission to stream is not within your rights. DMCA is for copyright infringement, not

The Night King isn’t a character in the books. And otherwise, GRRM stated that outside of Prologue/Epilogue characters, we will see no new POV characters for the remainder of the series.

“that’s why he dawdled behind the wall with his massive army rather than making an assault.”

I love how people keep forgetting that the wall was magical, and needed to be taken down by magic.
