I wouldn't go too hard on Chris Hardwick. He's a major wiener, and hashtag wars are stupid, but at least there have been some really funny comedians that have made @Midnight worthwhile.
I stopped watching The Daily Show a couple of months ago because lately, Jon's sense of humor has clearly taken a backseat to his outrage. This is a phenomenon that has played out over the last couple of years on various websites (most notably the Gawker Media family), but I never expected it to happen with this show.

It seems like the only kind of meme out there these days are image macros, since they all seem to follow the same template of "image of something with two lines of Impact font." It's so prominent that the two terms have become one and the same.
I'm a curmudgeon who stubbornly continues to call them "image macros."

The Lakers have fallen backwards into some of the best players of all time ever since they were in Minneapolis, when they got George Mikan out of sheer dumb luck. The same thing happened with Elgin Baylor, Magic Johnson, and Kobe Bryant. I can totally see them doing the same thing with another can't-miss prospect.
I'd take the scoring that we had in the '90s and the dominance of the Bulls over the years that followed the '98 lockout, when scoring hardly went over 100 points for either team and the Lakers dominated.
