Counterpoint: I think that gauge cluster looks extremely dated. I like the gauges on the Ducati Multistrada much better:

So you’re selling a car... Why wouldn’t you at least get the exterior washed so that its not absolutely filthy?

Mostly likely because its not an engine swap. Its a body swap onto the lower half of a Touareg.

You math very well sir! Thank you for that.

I’ll start with the fact that I can and do appreciate both brands for what they are. However, when it comes down to actual bang for the buck the Multistrada is a much better deal than any Harley could ever be. I’m the kind of rider that rents a bike about twice a year and does a week of riding at about 300-400 miles a

They nailed the entire rear of the car. The shape and dimensions flow very well, modern, not complicated, and elegant. The grill however kills it for me. The front headlights are good, but that grill. Too large, the shape is strange and detracts from the overall elegance that the entire rest of the design carries so

I have a read a lot of responses on here, but one I didn’t see mentioned is this: None of the story made sense until I read, “Mustang dyno.” Then all became clear. Every HP number I have ever heard quoted from a mustang dyno has always been way over what we all knew the motor was making. Put that thing on a Dynojet

Was looking through the comments and didn’t see anyone mention the fact that the track was completely wet. I am not interested in a wet acceleration comparison. WTF. Wait until the track is dry and run them again. Otherwise those results are useless garbage as far as I’m concerned.

I wish the rich kids in my high school were getting VW’s for their 17th birthdays. I grew up in a small very median salary town next to a rich town. There were actually 4 towns that shared one high school. Long story short here’s a brief list of some of the cars kids got on their 17th birthday... Brand New... 3 Series

I hope this doesn’t officially make me an old man... but I don’t like them. I think they look gross. Colors and maybe some letters OK. Unless its an art car though I can’t see this looking good.

Small world / great place to propose I guess... That is one beautiful M3. I had an E46 M3 at one point that I supercharged with an ESS kit. That was a great car and there are still times when I miss it.

Yes sir, that’s the spot. Love that view. Proposed to my wife right near there too. Not in that exact parking lot, but near there. Wifey actually took that shot on her phone and I thought it looked amazing.

Here’s my best wallpaper shot of mine:

Ah... So more classic, understated and functional with less faux flashiness. I think I get your drift now. I can appreciate the older styling but I’m too much of a tech junkie to not want more modernism than that personally. Thanks for the response. The Spyker C8 Aileron is one of my favorites.

Hmm I see where that sentiment comes from, but while classic in appearance that interior does not seem like the kind of place where I would like to spend much time. I guess I like the modern look more.

Sir could you please provide a link or google term to search up an interior that your find most appealing? I promise to not judge it in any way, I’m just curious.

Thank you for finding that head unit. I was bout to embark and what was probably going to be a long and arduous journey to find out what that thing was. Now that I know... I really want to install it in my 2005 Gallardo. That thing has the most awful stereo and I bet the glowing dials and tube would be perfect in it

I was thinking the same thing, but wasn’t going to say it... My thoughts were more 16 year Lagavulin or a 12 year double wood Balvenie.

I’m glad someone else saw a resemblance to the Spyker interior. Which I currently believe to be the classiest of all interiors in the automotive universe!

The sound of that motor had a pronounced physiological effect on my body.
