I was waiting for someone to get a take on the S63... I currently have the CLS AMG and she’s getting a bit old and tired. Not the engine or the transmission mind you, just everything else. That car has been amazing in the sense that it has 95k miles on it and has been driven worse then some rental cars that entire

Its interesting that you ask this, because I used to be a BMW guy. Owned 2 X5's and then an e46 M3 that I supercharged. Back then what really drew me over to AMG’s was the massive torque. The V8's were OK, but not amazing and the M3 just didn’t have any grunt unless you worked the motor like a street walker in

LOL, that comment really is funny. Mostly because I have one of those “Subaru guys,” as a friend. He’s not the full package because he doesn’t have a 300 megawatt battery vape blowing cumulonimbus clouds of bubble gum flavored vape all over, but nonetheless he’s on his 4th WRX/STi. The funny thing is with each and

That’s awesome to hear. I’ve also gotten to a point in my life where I could actually afford to not get the cheapest variant of everything any more. I would certainly pay a premium if I had a guarantee and proof that something was made in morally viable manner by employees that aren’t starving. I’m in finance / tech

You make such a good point. Ignorance is bliss in this particular case, because when you start thinking about how your phones are assembled, your shoes are sewn, your clothes are sweat shopped, your street manhole covers are casted its all pretty terrible. The way we exist is not knowing and living happily in our

I must have no taste apparently. I actually like the look of both the air damn guards in either yellow or red, AND white letter sidewalls...

It looks just enough like a Zonda where I think I love it. The build quality looks awesome and the LS3 sitting back there is just perfect. I think I’d have one of these. Once I get my 12 car garage going I think something like this might have to find its way in there.

Surely there is no valid reason for you to be in such a rush to reach the hallowed halls of Valhalla?!? What would you need to put in the back, tubs and 315 width tires? Otherwise you’d probably break em loose in every single gear if you didn’t shred the transmission instantly. Conversely the car might just twist in

The first and quite possibly the last. Now please tell me why I keep buying beemers?

See now this kind of price I can understand. For $3,000 anything that drives is good. Now throw in the fact that its small, and light, and a convertible, and no doubt a hoot to drive and you have a real winner.

Those wheels looked good in the 80's, they did not age well. I don’t like the look of them. Furthermore the AMG GT is gorgeous meanwhile its 4 door sedan version is nowhere near is appealing. I like the look of the CLS much more.

Yeah of course not... How could you insinuate that someone might want to lower their daily caloric intake to match their burn rate... Yup I’m a monster for suggesting such a thing. You know I’m 5'8" decently built, and most charts would say I can burn 2200 without exercise. Over time I’ve found my metabolism is super

That certainly is a trend, but I have this sneaking suspicion that their copious coke habits also influenced their early exit stage left...

I have done some digging trying to find any peer reviewed medical journals providing studies that support the HAES movement. Couldn’t find any, could please provide some links? What I did find is plenty of references to social justice and feelings. No studies or facts. Let’s take for a second that your made up

Totally agreed, nobody should be shamed, put down, made fun of or excluded. I had a super rough childhood and was picked on a lot every single day of school. I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to go through the grade school experience I did as a child. All that being said, my comments, especially if you read them

Agreed stigma is bad and that’s what I also started with in my comment. However, not making fun of or marginalizing obese people does not equate to normalizing and promoting poor diet and exercise life styles. See that’s my whole point, I also agree we shouldn’t ostracize, marginalize, stigmatize or exclude anyone.

That is exactly right. We have a national obesity epidemic and now people are doing their best to normalize it. That is not the correct direction for society to be moving in.

There’s something that I just can’t understand. I guess I’ll start with what I do know. I do know that it is NOT GOOD to make fun of people, abuse people, put people down, exclude people, or judge people on race, color, etc. However, are we not all in agreement that being overweight is a bad thing? It is bad for one’s

I came here to say this, but you already did it for me. I don’t believe there’s a landau Tesla out there, and if there is I really really need to see it. I know I may throw up when I do, but I still want to lay eyes on it.

I came here to find this exact comment, surprised I had to scroll this far down, but happy to see it. I agree. Drop an LS in there, probably barely and weight difference, and you want to talk about getting that little car moving, the 420 or so lb ft of torque from an LS3 will do the trick just right.
