I do love the depreciation curve of the luxury market. I’ve bought 2 used X5’s, an M3, and an AMG. I paid what I would say is on average 1/4 or 1/3 their original price. Keeping them running has also been very reasonable. I love that rich people throw away their toys so cheap once they are done with them.

I don’t have any data to back it up, but I’ve always felt the same about the Merc V12 engines. I have this sneaking suspicion that finding parts for them would be hideously expensive. On the other hand their supercharged and turbo charged V8 offerings are delicious. So far, for me at least, cheap to run. I have a CLS

Listen, there’s more to loving a car than just logic. I’ve owned both a 2002 Trans-AM WS-6 and a BMW E46 M3. Guess what, I loved both of those cars. They are different, handled different, looked very different, but as a car lover there were things about each that I appreciated and embraced. Believe it or not I like

Well maybe the amazon app can just use your GPS location to figure where to deliver to and of course constantly update and of course be linked to your GPS app to figure out what your destination is and of course figure out what the appropriate interesect vector is and and and... You know those simple trivial items :)

I’m not mistaken the statistics are something like... Hit a pedestrian at 25 MPH and he has a 80% chance of living. Hit a pedestrian at 35 and he has an 80% chance of dying. Something like that. Here’s one such source:

You know normally I would say the same thing, but haven’t you ever had one of those days that you just don’t want to get dressed or leave the house? This is for that day when you just want your item now now now and at your front door.

Fair enough on all your points. However, this is a NPOCP article and my comment was mostly on the fact that even at $1200 I felt it was still a CP. Especially based on your comments about how far cars have come since then and how problematic some of these have been, are you still on the NP vote?

Alright, well if my experience had been anything like that maybe I would agree too. Mine fell apart, in every way, every day. I mean I went through every kind of issue, from slipping trans, to failing power steering pumps, to CV joints, to interior pieces and trim coming off, to electrical. I’m glad your experience

Yup that there sounds like a typical ownership experience. You came up with more objective ways of expressing it, mostly because I couldn’t remember all the things that went wrong. I just remembered that the overall build quality resembled Lada more than Ford.

So you loved yours? What did you like? I mean obviously there’s not right or wrong with this, just opinions... My memory and opinion of that vehicle was quite poor, couldn’t be worse by too much.

Ok, I get it, you’re jalops and that’s a wagon, and its under $2k so instant NP, right? WRONG! Has a single one of you owned an 88’ Mercury Sable? No you say? Ah, that there is the absolute crux of the problem. If any of you had you’d be with me in the crack pipe voting section. That there vehicle which initially

So based on the new radar data that I found, I’m not sure that Turkey has any leg left to stand on:

Yeah they have a plethora of unmarked cars nowadays. Honestly its crazy, nothing seems off the table. I used to think it would only be various models of Chevy or Ford. Wrong, I’ve seen a Honda CR-V and a Nissan Altima. To be honest I can’t call it an overreaction any more. Living in Jersey and working basically in

Fair enough, I have read as much also...

LOL.

Oh yeah if you were planning on speeding in New York City I would have to strongly recommend against it. This coming from a long time speeder. My driving record includes almost nothing except speeding tickes and is nearly a full 8.5x11 sheet long in 10 point font. NYC also has a ton of undercover vehicles including

Yeah the cross-country drive is a huge investment in time. I haven’t been around Chicago enough to understand what the roads are like. A middle of the night run on a weeknight would probably help you avoid most of the traffic. Police would still be a major problem and visibility at night is worse. I can imagine how

So I think I hear what you’re saying. It is irrelevant what the details were under which the SU-24 was shot down. It was invading airspace and Russia’s agenda is generally counter that of Turkey’s. They decided they need to enforce the border. I do agree that our current president is weak and an idiot. I do know that

Ok, point taken. Let’s look at it your way, which I’m very willing to do. What has this achieved? Russia will certainly now take any chance it has to return the favor. Worse than that is the fact that instead of focusing on what should be a common enemy, ISIS, these two countries are wasting resources and lives on

I can’t understand how Turkey was ever allowed to be part NATO. They are a bunch of terrorist supporting scumbags.
