It seems he threw shade at a good number of Americans who don’t really get the subtlety of British humor. I’m sure the pin will drop for the good old boys eventually.

She could have blended it in better, but given these comments I’m wondering if any of you have ever seen gold highlighter before.

This is the realest, most relatable comment in the thread. Fuck his stupid sexy self, ugh.

I think it’s complicated for Moss specifically because it’s not like she converted recently as an adult for career opportunities or whatever— she was raised in it by her parents. If I had to bet, I imagine she’s trying not to rock the boat and risk never seeing her family again. There’s also the horrifying thought

Somewhere in his home bar, Jimmy Fallon sighs in relief.

A relatively small annoyance, but trying to click through to responses on old (pre-Kinja) comments from notifications results in dead links. It just links to the article. For old articles with ~1000 comments, it becomes pretty tedious to try to hunt down the response to your comment.

Funny, as someone who’s lived in Chicago for long periods of time I heard Wabash and thought “yep, that’s about right.” That’s where the white finance suits congregate. Not a surprise to me at all that one of them would go full plantation owner if you messed up his $5k jacket.

Not to pop your nostalgia bubble, but FOCs and GJIs (and much, much shittier ones than this) regularly floated up to the fold and most-read lists of the old website even in the “old days.” And this current one is just one out of four pop-culture items above the fold right now. The other three involving more

I can’t with these back in my day people, and the levels have been at an all-time high since the move to Kinja.

This is so silly. For starters, South Korea and Japan manage to feed their schoolkids exquisite lunches and yet 2% of Japanese use welfare (compared to 21% of Americans) and South Korea spends less than half what the US does on social service programs, after scaling relative to GDP.

There probably would have been (and usually are) cold spots in May too, so..?

I look forward to all the white teen girls on tumblr adding something new to their Dear Evan Hansen rotation.

This article is suited when most of the US is sweltering, which was easily satisfied when the article was posted.

My point is that both of them are sociopaths and assuming Frank is any better is delusional.
