A relatively small annoyance, but trying to click through to responses on old (pre-Kinja) comments from notifications results in dead links. It just links to the article. For old articles with ~1000 comments, it becomes pretty tedious to try to hunt down the response to your comment.

Funny, as someone who’s lived in Chicago for long periods of time I heard Wabash and thought “yep, that’s about right.” That’s where the white finance suits congregate. Not a surprise to me at all that one of them would go full plantation owner if you messed up his $5k jacket.

People have been going apeshit for The Crown (imho one of the most overrated shows of the year, but audiences are gonna do the most for a period drama), so Foy is probably her stiffest competition in the bunch.

Maybe it’s a legalese thing? “Sloppy” is basically a code word, and maybe calling him out directly for a documented disorder like alcoholism without the receipts is libel territory.

Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus

They’re making fun of his video intro which is always “hey sisters”

I have to side-eye someone in his position who hasn’t “educated” himself yet.

Did anyone else think it was a little off (or maybe not entirely true) when Issa told Lawrence that it wasn’t about him when she cheated on him? I thought she was seeking passion elsewhere partially because things with Lawrence weren’t so great at the time.

Not to pop your nostalgia bubble, but FOCs and GJIs (and much, much shittier ones than this) regularly floated up to the fold and most-read lists of the old website even in the “old days.” And this current one is just one out of four pop-culture items above the fold right now. The other three involving more

I can’t with these back in my day people, and the levels have been at an all-time high since the move to Kinja.

This is so silly. For starters, South Korea and Japan manage to feed their schoolkids exquisite lunches and yet 2% of Japanese use welfare (compared to 21% of Americans) and South Korea spends less than half what the US does on social service programs, after scaling relative to GDP.

There probably would have been (and usually are) cold spots in May too, so..?

I look forward to all the white teen girls on tumblr adding something new to their Dear Evan Hansen rotation.

This article is suited when most of the US is sweltering, which was easily satisfied when the article was posted.

My point is that both of them are sociopaths and assuming Frank is any better is delusional.

Y’all will laugh, but Dig by Mudvayne left young me mesmerized for the longest while. I had never seen anything like it, especially on a ‘mainstream’ channel like MTV.

Well all tea no shade, but it did not sound like it girl. It sounded like an awkward phonetic line reading.

Lmao girl this is just getting sad now. To quote you:

They dropped the ball by not spelling out the seating, but in terms of *inviting* I don’t see the problem. It’s Derek’s birthday, so you invite Derek’s friends, not Tiffany’s friends (and sure, they mostly overlap). And you expect Issa and Lawrence to behave like adults for the function. From a third-person point of

She’s also said some really transphobic things too. The people don’t get famous because they’re woke, and I hope her lgbt stans keep that in mind.
