Basing rightness or wrongness of the relationship based on level of incest is not a good barometer for the Targaryens.

It’s because Ser Jorah gives off the scent of desperation. If he just played the suave fuccboi, Dany would be all over him. It’s science.
I’ll watch it just to remind myself of how good the (first half of the) original is.
Really? Looks mighty far from it to me. Again, not immediately clocking it as a regular blender attachment is really funny to me for some reason.
The problem is that it doesn’t take just three seconds if you wash properly— especially when you have kids and the plates multiply, or you finished off leftovers from a bunch of finicky tupperware containers that take a while to clean. And sometimes you do have to bolt out the door basically chewing that last bite of…
You’re a [10] if the first thought that comes to mind when you see a smoothie blender blade is a “seed-whirler.” Love it.
Imagine thinking Sean O’Neal has no experience.
TESTING, and just wanted to say that Marie Antoinette is forever one of my guilty pleasure movies. I mean, a pair of Versaille-era Converses? Asia Argento in anything?? Yes please!!!
But is feminism really a broad, population-level concept, vis-a-vis being labeled a feminist? Like, if you expound theoretically feminist ideals but you still treat individual women in your daily life as less-than, don't honor promises to individual women, etc., are you still a feminist?
Counterpoint: yes, there are lots of people who take the concept absurdly far (eg. "if you're not black and you wear locs you're racist"), BUT there is a lot to say about famous white people taking things from black culture that black men and women have been doing for *forever* but have never gotten shine/money from.…
I think they keep it deliberately vague to give the interviewee a chance to play with the idea, when they make their list. It's all subjective anyway, so to me it gives more insight into the person when they come up with their own benchmark for "worst."
Well, "they" probably do— Google didn't send the memo, one engineer did.
People on reddit had a good way of describing it as "he's turning into Dr Manhattan". I suppose the implication of that scene (and the scene where he and Sansa are reunited) is that he's observed so many horrible events that he's become kind of remote from all of it, to protect his own mind.
Then maybe I was confused by the context of your post. Because you replied to a post that was stating a pretty logical train of thought for Tracy to kill herself. I thought you were insinuating that was "complexifying" her unnecessarily, but I guess you were just agreeing with it?
I'm saying it *does* make sense given her (stupid teen) mindset. Like, the action logically follows but that doesn't require the character to have "depth" in the sense of maturity or complexity.
The point is not that she has depth (she's a dumb teen) but rather that the decision made sense in context of her characterization.
My movie tastes are a bit unconventional. I only watch movies that refer to the actual form of media in the title, like The Emoji Movie, Scooby-Doo: The Movie, A Serbian Film, etc.
Kevin, thank you so much for picking The Assassin. I like beautiful, glacial arthouse movies as much as the next nerd, but this movie was excruciatingly dull and I was struggling to "get" why everyone adored it so much while I was watching it. I'd advise a viewing of Curse of the Golden Flower for someone who wants…
You may want to sit down for this: other critics work there.
I think Littlefinger knows exactly how far to push to put his targets off-balance without being killed. He was fairly confident that Jon wouldn't outright kill him, because Jon is bound by his sense of honor. LF is a verbal manipulator, after all.
