Awesome, awesome episode. I am so hyped for the remainder of the season!

To me he just looked relieved that the coronation process was completed successfully. And wasn't he the same priest who sassed Yara when they were sending off Daddy Greyjoy in his floating casket?

This episode Jaqen said something to the effect of "there will be a new face on the wall, one way or the other". Arya can't fuck up now, and I assume leaving at this point puts her on a list.

Really? I actually think it's kind of the opposite— he's getting an awful lot of work for being so forgettable. With his build he kinda started out as a bargain bin Chris Pratt and stayed there.

Glad to see Jean Teasdale's doing well.

Gay guy here. He wasn't on my radar at all until pictures started showing up of him with all that body hair. Mmmm.

It never fails to make me laugh when the whole "white as default" concept is challenged, and then people get all uppity because that's "always making it about race."

Because everything, including TV shows based on source material that was written years and years ago, like the whole Sparrow storyline, has to be about current America. Jesus, what is it with Americans vanishing up their own ass?

Growing up with that billionaire money and then making that Seinfeld money certainly doesn't hurt.

That man's obsessed with me.

I gather it's because of all the things you listed, "fireproof Dany" was one of the few magical aspects of this world that GRRM expressed a more or less definitive opinion about. *shrug*

That boy ain't right, I'll tell you hwhat. Although being breastfed by a crazy woman until you're 9 and having "throwing people through the moon door" as your main amusement are sure to mess up anyone.

For those exact reasons you give, we all need to realize that High Sparrow is playing the Game just like everyone else. It's all about power, and getting hold of the teeming masses via religion just happens to be his route.

Lady Olenna, more like Shady Olenna amirite?

Well, the whole point of Daenerys' arc is that she has a claim to the throne via bloodlines, and her trials and tribulations (eg. being sold off to the Dothraki) are just bumps on the road to her "royal destiny".

Although given their penchant for brawling and drinking, you'd think they'd have figured out a better system by now than "let's put pools of easily knocked over, flaming oil in a giant tinderbox where we hold our most important meetings".

Poor Tommen. He's the gentle king that a peaceful Westeros deserves, but not the king that current Westeros needs right now.

Eh, she probably has high STR to handle the dragons, but she doesn't need a lot of DEX and CON to walk regally out of burning buildings. INT is probably average too.

Laugh track sitcoms (except for maybe Golden Girls) are so dated anyways- if I had to watch Seinfeld reruns I'd probably be bored to tears.

Eh, I disagree. I think the idea that someone can develop a talent as a songwriter and be acknowledged/paid for it is pretty cool. It's basically the modern iteration of being a well-known poet (I mean poets still exist obviously, but that job has become more rarefied.)
