my one-owner 2003 z06 was treated well by an older gentleman who put 30k miles on it before i bought it from a dealer for 24k earlier this year... the shifter takes some time to get used to, but it actually gives me a "satisfying" feel now. no more flimsy/notchy shifts!

i haven't been to a LAN party in about eight years or so... good times. then again, these days there is no game that's worth playing anyway, and not enough people that still play quake/ut/warsow/painkiller care to show up for a LAN event... (casual players, not so called pro-gamers).

vette insurance expensive? i'm paying about the same for my c5z06 as i did for the mazdaspeed3 that i traded in... ever tried insuring an evo or an sti for that kind of money? good luck.

i live five minutes from the I-95, I-287, NJ 440, and CR 514 intersection at Edison, NJ. the first 2-3 times are pretty scary, but after that you get comfortable and start taking bets with your friends in the car how late the guy with the PA plate in front of you is gonna change lanes to make it to the turnpike exit.

hehe, the corvette team has posted an update on their facebook page saying they "appreciate" jalopnik's enthusiasm but people will have to wait a bit longer to see what it really looks like.

do eeeeeeet! even though i still don't see how people get 30mpg except for maybe a minute or two. the most i've gotten is 28 mpg, which was ironically exactly the same as the mazdaspeed3 had on the way down to florida when i traded it in for the vette lol.

$28k? in april 2011 I paid $24k for a 2003 z06 with 30k miles (at a dealer). you can easily get a cheaper one with say 50-60k miles which is still not much for the LS6. i've taken my vette to NJMP five times since i bought it. drive it to the track, race, drive home. all my instructors (mostly from porsche club) have…
