I have heard many, many “DACA kids” (who are mostly adults and it’s racist and anti-immigrant to call them “kids” so don’t do that) express disgust with the Democrats’ utter failure to live up to their promises to them. They do not want a racist anti-immigrant wall to be built.

If “let’s build a wall on the border with Mexico” is the Democrats’ best, they are very very bad.

Bingo. Right to Peaceably Assembly doesn’t mean “in this marked 10' space, on Tuesdays, from 9:00-9:30".

entire process is an obvious, open sham, designed to abridge first amendment rights

Exactly. And that’s not even getting into the usage of agents provocateurs.

The surest way to start a riot: send in the police.

The DNC doesn’t care about the people. They care about it’s members and donors. If you are not a paying registered member and going to meetings and crap they just can’t be bothered. They don’t represent the “people”. It’s a members club, and the more money you give the more weight your opinion has.

Because there are still people who refuse to accept it as legitimate.

Also as a white dude when I think of whom I want to see get more power I never feel comfortable focusing on one such set of humans over another,

(maybe one that is more niche than I currently appreciate)

Can we start a “Just Put Black Women in Charge” wing of the party?

Both wings have problems with racism as do virtually all parts of the spectrum but yeah, the “Party Democrats” are annoying as fuck.

Yeah, and Hillary pandering to nonexistent moderate white Republicans led to voter apathy among black people and the working class and her losing.

I think you both have points. There are “brocialists” who don’t want to ever talk about racial issues or “identity politics” but far more harmful are the establishment Dems who claim to care about social issues yet promote an inherently racist neoliberal imperialist system.

This is the thing about these so-called “real Democrats” that really pisses me off. They love to spout their Clinton-fed bullshit about how the progressive wing of the party “doesn’t get it”, and yet right out of the mouth of Dr. Martin Luther King we have this little nugget:

Race and class are inextricably linked.

Dems benefit, however, because easier access to voting means more legitimate voters get to vote. Republicans benefit because legitimate voters are deterred from voting. The two things are not morally equivalent.

Or, they just hate minorities.

It’s likely not coincidental. Once one person in a group or organization speaks up, especially if they are of high status, others get the courage to do so too. It’s sort of a reverse bystander effect. If everyone ignores something, most people will also ignore it, but if one person calls attention to a problem )of any

This has been the best season of Rick and Morty so far so way to go ladies.
