This was not a great episode of the show. It doesn’t work as a good season finale. It’s got lost levels of reveals locked in lock boxes locked in cryptic bullshit. Things are obscured and hidden for no apparent reason. But I’ll watch season 2.

I just went back and reread this first arc...and it’s not as good as I remember. As an adaptation...this show might be taking too many liberties and expanding on things that don’t really matter. As a show by itself though, I think this is actually much better then the comic at this point.

they cherry picked continuity to the point where not even fans of the inhuman could understand what was going on. Karnak’s origin isn’t usually touched upon in the comics but the recent Ellis mini-series and his current portrayal are really honing in on that aspect of him. But this current version is also way weirder…
