Ok, as a person working on their doctorate and specializing in autism, let me try to make this as simple for you to understand...

I always go back to a Tim Gunn quote from one of the earlier Project Runway seasons. I believe it was Kayne (the pageant dress designer) who did a see through corset and Tim was all “that’s tacky.”

Ugh, seriously! I told every shop that I did not want a strapless dress. I have no boobs and didn’t want to worry about it slipping down throughout the day. All that I could find was strapless. I wound up getting a strapless that basically had a built-in corset so that thing did not budge at all.

I would be so excited to find those right now. LOL. I live in the Middle East so it is HOT but you are still expected to cover up to a certain extent. I would love to find some short sleeve or three quarter sleeve cardigans that are thin. I don't want cashmere or wool. I just want a thin cotton or linen-blend!

Quality has definitely gone down. I bought two jersey tops and both had seams that unraveled during the first wash. Pissed me off so bad. I haven't had an issue with the Sloan pants or the nicer tops but man, those jersey ones are a crap shoot.

I had horrible heartburn with my daughter who was born with a full head of hair. I’m giving birth in two weeks and this one hasn’t given me heartburn. Follow up with me later re:the hair situation. Both have been carried completely different. My daughter was much higher whereas this boy is down low.

Shapeless is in and has been a lifesaver for me! I got pregnant in August and was able to wear shapeless shirts from Banana until around month 5 or so of the pregnancy. I’m delivering in 2 weeks and am so happy that I have clothes that I will be able to get back into quickly (unlike when I had my daughter and

OMG this!!! I *live* in the Sloan pants. I own them in about 5 different colors and love the fact that it feels like wearing yoga pants all day long. I work with small kids but am expected to dress professionally so while the dry clean only stinks, it is awesome that they are so stretchy and comfy.

Instead of the stages of grief, it was the stages of sexual harassment. LOL.

I just remember thinking that it seriously couldn’t be happening and there was no way he thought it was ok to talk to me like that. He also made comments about my husband and how much money he must make based off of where his MBA is from.

It is. My boss is the most amazing person.

My mom and I still have an irrational hatred of Tara Lipinski and Sarah Hughes. Michelle was just such a beautiful skater. I am happy that she is one of the few that has found a life outside of skating which I think is the ultimate middle finger to Tara Lipinski.

My nephew went up to an older lady (mid to late 70's) and told her that she was a girl because she didn't have a wiener. My sister-in-law was mortified. I told her that the woman probably thought it was cute. Hey, at least he got the gender right!

The day after I had my daughter, my old company called me in to interview for a management position. I explained that I was in the hospital having just had a c-section so they scheduled it for the next week.

If it helps, it is more awkward for me to hug my mother-in-law. I am 5'10" and she is maybe 4'11" so if I frontal hug AT ALL, I wind up motorboating her. I hate her and would rather do the double kiss because then at least her face wouldn't be in my boobs.

Well, I am a woman so not much for the bro-hug. LOL. We tend to do the whole hug with good friends. The Europeans (and the Filipinos) just come in straight for the embrace and double kiss on the first meeting. I'm better when it is a good friend than someone I just met. It helps when you realize they always go for the

LOL. The first time a European came in to do the double kiss thing, I froze. I just kept telling my husband that I needed a sign that said, “American. Back off.” I now just lean in and return the double kiss. It is such a standard way of greeting amongst most of the expats here that nobody thinks of what country you

Same with the Middle East! It is amazing to see how differently people and the children act in a much more laid back and accepting society.

I have said that Tupperware would be the only thing that I would even get into selling because that shit is awesome.

Hey, don't go giving the Germans a bad reputation. I'm from the South and my family fled Germany. Biscuits are sacred.
