Well done.

+1

SCCA Trans Am was my favorite series as a teenager in the mid '90's. I was sad to see it die after the 2005 season, and the subsequent "return" of Trans Am left a lot to be desired. I'm not sure what the status of the series is right now, but I'm not holding my breath.

Well said, all of it. Perhaps calling for euthanasia was a little rash, but I am with you 100% on the need for a halo car.

I'd like to nominate everything currently made by Lincoln. Lincoln should have gone in an entirely different direction with the LS, and might then have followed Cadillac into renewed relevancy. Instead, we get (very obviously) rebadged Fords with no excitement factor whatsoever.

Acura TL?

Nibbles-d. Nevermind.

I love that. I have always thought it would be really fun to put every conceivable performance oriented badge across the back of, oh, like a '91 Buick Regal or something. Something really bad. Turn that mofo into a Buick Regal GTR SS Carrera Type R S-Type M5 AMG Z06 GT500 Superleggera. *brofist*

Even though it never made it past the prototype stage, I'd say my dream "compromise" would be an E39 M5 Touring. Whatever it is, though, it has GOT to be a wagon.

I'm gonna get killed for this! But to me, it's perfection.

I can't really agree with the new Taurus being a disappointment. Compared to where it has been, the new car is a revelation. The second generation Taurus (not counting the refresh of the first gen) was literally offensive to look at. Especially considering what a fresh and daring design the '86 Taurus was.
