This was my first thought. My second thought was, “Samsung, you can have it back... for a price”
The previous owner went through all the paperwork, conversion process and money to have it federalized, as it only needed a few parts to be swapped out (it’s not far off the US non-convertible model). Then he bought it from that person/a dealership (not sure which) who was able to legally sell it as a US imported car.…
That’s so sad to hear, I’ve always loved those S10's, my dad had a red ‘91 for a long time, before upgrading to his 2005 Tacoma X-Runner (he bought this new, as he did the S10). My goal in life is to get an S10 Extended cab and build it with an LS twin turbo, static lowered, one day....
That’s even more sad, knowing it…
Ouch, glad to hear you made it out somewhat unscathed, considering it was an Escalade to your old body style S10. Also, the world was much darker that day as we lost a good mini-truck :(
I came down here to comment with this exactly. That’s a 6th gen Maxima for sure. 04-08 were the years, I’d say a base model “SE”, unfortunately there are a LOT of that gen Maxima’s running around. But hopefully not too many in that area, that are black/dark blue/dark green, as this car could be any of those colors…
Can confirm this...
Hyundai Kona is being made as FCEV, personally I think it’s not a bad looking CUV
You are correct that here in the US SMS is the primary source of messaging for most people, as much as I hate it. The only reason iMessage is used by iPhone users is because the majority of them think it’s an SMS message anyway
Can confirm for non-Abarth variants as well. My step-mom bought a brand new Fiat 500x, within the first few months it was back at the dealership at least 3-4 times for random switches not working, lights on the dash coming on (like ABS and ESP), sensors going bad, something with the climate control stopped working…
This, %100.
To be honest, outside of a GTR, I’d even expand that statement since about 2014 to read, “Cliffnotes version: Don’t buy a Nissan, they are pieces of shit”
Their CVT’s are terrible, they’re build quality is trash, their new “tech” doesn’t work, and they’re overpriced.
It may be in there, I’ll straight up tell you I didn’t read it. However, maybe Nissan shouldn’t be adding technology to the car that they know doesn’t work properly
I can confirm these issues, ESPECIALLY with Nissan. My ex and I leased a brand new 2018 Nissan Sentra (for her to drive) in March of 2018. By the beginning of April she was telling me how on more than one occasion the car just suddenly beeped at her as if she was about to get in a front-end collision and automatically…
Ditto, I loved my SER and would LOVE for Nissan to make a fun SER Sentra (since it’s 3rd gen Altima sized now) again, or even an SER Altima, but Nissan isn’t about performance anymore unfortunately, and those CVT’s kill me.
True, the VQ Altima was one of the first, and best at the time, of the higher HP V6 cars, it was…
Agreed with this comment and subsequent replies. I had a 2006 Altima SER (VQ35DE powered FWD Altima with some wheels and a body kit from the factory), I owned that car for 5 years but put just over 100K miles on it, it was awesome. I had zero major issues, swapped front brakes from a Z32 and rears from a 350z and the…
I’m with Tom on this one - Hyundai Kona FTW! I saw that thing for the first time at the NY Auto Show earlier this year and love it! It’s the perfect little crossover for most people, plus you can get it with a 1.6T, electric (if you’re into that sort of thing) and even Hydrogen Fuel Cell! It’s affordable, modern-day Ki…
This is true. I have a friend here in NJ who has a 2003 RS6, he’s had it since new in 2003 when he bought it, a tad under 90k miles on it as it sits today. It does in fact work better than expected, but don’t expect to get in the car and it be ice cold while sitting in the sun. I remember getting in the car at work…
Agreed! And let us not forget who else uses a 0-X00-0 metric...
I wonder who will be first to “VETTE”, “V3TT3", etc...
This is a neat idea, though at a steep price for such a hidden customization, I’m kind of surprised they are offering this on a $60k base car. Though, I guess GM is figuring there will be collectors after this car, to put in their temperature controlled garages for…
Thanks for the tip on the credit cards that offer pre check, I didn’t realize I could get it with my Marriot points - score!
