My throwback shirt is a “You Forgot Poland” shirt. I first bought it after the 2004 debate in question in the unisex fit. My FWB at the time “accidentally” kept it (and I kept his black button down in exchange) but the shirt was so essential I rebought it in a women’s fit and it still hangs in my closet 14 years and

Your post speaks to me because I was there and have been reexamining my perspectives of my money and others’. Until I met my husband I was very much in the same place as you (minus the child). I was spending about 40% of my net income on my housing and nearly kneecapped when my car broke down and I needed didn’t have

Perhaps the gays in Washington have gotten to him. /s

>>That’s it. Those are the best. Here now are all the worst shaped states:

This picture is heartbreaking. I hate that I can’t do anything except vote this fall. Glad I moved into a swing district though, and hope to contribute to flipping it.

Ahh stories about English class.

Just a minor tweak, but in the section about Kate’s favorite designers, it should be Reiss, not Reese.

Everyone else has covered all the important thoughts on this, so I’ll just add that her daughter’s name is Alexis, not Olympia.

I will say that while I can see how this is annoying, my mom does this because she is diabetic and makes lemonade for herself with Equal or Splenda because there aren’t a lot of good sugar-free options at most restaurants. (Also the lemonade from the soda fountain doesn’t taste very good.)

Is it Everett that is the minor league hockey attraction? If so, as someone who lived in Everett for four years, it might be an attraction to the blue-collar/navy workers in the immediate area, but there is (was?) very little nightlife to speak of in Everett and nothing to compel Seattle residents to make the trek.

Qdoba > Chipotle. That is all.

Kind of off topic, but any suggestions how to go about renting a specific car for a weekend/week? My husband’s birthday is coming up and I’d like to rent him his favorite car.

Went to Wal-Mart a month ago (because they were the only place that carries our favorite skillet meal) and had something in our cart, can’t remember what, that wouldn’t ring up. So the sales associate said she couldn’t sell it to us. Not, “do you remember how much this cost?”, not “let’s get a price check”; “we can’t

We cut off cable about three years ago now and while I don’t particularly miss it, I’m surprised how poor an option our TV antenna is. I live in the suburbs of a MCOL area and can’t reliably get more than one network channel. Fortunately, live sports are about the only thing we really miss and most of our favorite

But... Big Pharma!!!!

For me it was when I worked hard to bring my Bernie-supporting husband over (not because she was a Democrat but because of her strengths) and realized that she was neck-and-neck with *Trump*. I remember asking my husband, “even if she wins now, who could she possibly beat in 2020?”

Older population, yes, and also people with disabilities. My dad gave me his Honda CR-X when I was 17 (so he was late 40s) because he didn’t like getting in and out of it. Not long after, he married a woman with rheumatoid arthritis and specifically bought cars that would be easier for her to get in and out of.

At my old apartment, my cats had a window that looked over the parking area. Every day when I came home they’d be in the window and as soon as they saw me/my car, they’d get up and walk away from the window to greet me at the door.
